Poll Should MS allow future Bethesda games on PS5? (78 votes)
Basic question.
Basic question.
What kind of silly question is that? Do we ask if Sony acquired studios should make games for Series X?
Question: why are you bringing up Sony studios?

Aren't you against exclusives?
Yes but only if they're able to do some serious milking like Phony. Lets say BS Jive versions at $120.00 a pop. ;0
C'mon, you know cows would be all over that knowing if they're charging that much it must be because the superior quality being offered. lol :P
Yes! But MS games are factually not exclusives. 😮
But they're exclusive to the Xbox platform.
It's up to them but I wouldn't blame them if they keep them off of PS5. Exclusivity for their platform will bring them more revenue. It also means they can focus on fewer hardware targets which should speed up development.

Hey dude! I noticed that you seem to have dodged my response, so I'll post it again here for your convenience:
Question: why are you bringing up Sony studios?
LOL, this question keeps coming up every week. It's clear cows are desperate for some of the heavy-hitting Bethesda games coming out in the next few years.
Time to start saving for an Xbox. Or you can slum it and subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate to play them on Cloud Gaming. Either way, Microsoft gets your money. Unless you're @NathanDrakeSwag and you spend your life doing Bing searches to afford your Game Pass subscription. 😂
Well we all know why this thread was made. “Basic question” my ass. 😅

Question: why are you bringing up Sony studios?
Because we are talking about the PS5 no? 😎
Where is the subject of Sony studios mentioned in the OP?
@wandering_halls: Oh we all know. 😅
Cool. Now can you answer the question, please?
Where is the subject of Sony studios mentioned in the OP?
It doesn't need to be. You are talking about a Sony platform. A very basic deduction. 😎
For you, agreed. All you need is MS to be brought up in anything approaching what you perceive to be a negative light for you to bring up Sony.
@wandering_halls: I already did. 😅
No, you dodged the question. Now, can you answer it, please?
As much as I'm against those acquisitions what's the fucking point of buying those studios if you're going to keep releasing them on rival platforms?
Also why do people keep asking this of Microsoft and never of Sony? Such pointless and stupid double standards...

PS5 is literally a Sony platform. You brought up a Sony platform in the OP. Maybe you should be smarter in your approach next time. 😂🤣

Lets not forget that OP is stating Bethesda gams are Xbox exclusive, which is false. 😮

Cool. Now, point to where Sony studios were mentioned in the OP. Should be easy, right?

It seems like a basic enough question to everyone but you. Why are you so easily triggered over questions about Microsoft? Lol.
@wandering_halls: That was my answer. Make of it what you will. 🤷♂️ 😅
I just told you what I make of it. You dodged the question.
Oh well, I suppose.
@BenjaminBanklin: "Aren't you against exclusives?"
Only if they're Sony's or Nintendo's. MS is allowed to do as it pleases because he's a shill.
It would be nice. i think everyone in the industry knows the deal at this stage though. want MS games? gamepass subs must be allowed on the platform. allow that and MS will be more than happy to release the game on said platform (or stream it if the hardware itself can't make the cut).

Nope. Bethesda games being solely exclusive to Xbox was not mentioned in the OP. Exclusivity was mentioned. In this particular context the exclusivity means Xbox/PC.

For the record, I think exclusivity sucks. All Sony games should be shared with all applicable mediums. No double standards here.

But being on Xbox and PC de facto means it is not exclusive.

Exclusive to Xbox/PC is by definition a form of exclusivity, yeah. It is blocking out another outlet.

I'm glad you do, there's not much of an argument against first-party studios exclusives but exclusives through acquisitions IMO is ruining this industry on the consumers side.

Agreed, totally.

Factually false. Xbox does not have exclusives. Have not have exclusives for over 2 years and will continue to not have exclusives. Games not being on PS5 does not make it exclusive. As stated before, Xbox games are available on four platforms, making your OP false.

Microsoft/Sony might spin this as some sort of exclusive (like when they say console exclusive, which doesn't mean much) but as soon as you have it on another platform it is by definition not an exclusive.
Examples of non-exclusives; Street Fighter 5, Halo Infinite, Zelda BoTW. Even if the last one is "Nintendo-exclusive", it is not truly exclusive (which isn't a bad thing) because you find it on another platform regardless of the owner of that platform.
@wandering_halls: Fine then. It was made because of the recent Sony acquisition news. Happy now? 😅
Happiness doesn't enter the conversation, lol.
And why would I care about Sony acquisitions? I hope every studio Sony purchases puts their games on PC.....so I can play them. I don't even own a PS5, lol.

Cool, then you should be able to point to where in the OP Bethesda games being solely exclusive to Xbox was stated.
Easy, right?

Lol, true enough about MS/Sony. That's why exclusivity can mean many things these days.
The only thing I care about is that everything comes to PC.
