Show me the best PC graphics

There you go, but to be honest, 99% pc gamers system will fail to run such graphic, hell 90% of the PC gamer will even fail to run many vainlla games' max setting. with the exception of BF3, metro2033 and just cause2, most regular mutliplatform games, PC only looked averagely 20% times better, given AA, higher res and 70 FOV advantage

at PC's best(as below) where it could easily cook up a GTX4xx/5xx card, the graphic will look nearly photo realistic and only the next xbox/ps can surpass, most mutli platformer aren't really big deals.

There you go, but to be honest, 99% pc gamer's system will fail to run such graphic, regular games, PC is averagely 20% times better, given AA, higher res and 70 FOV.

It will never be done. Buying at retail vs. buying in bulk. On top of that, owning or outsourcing production can allow a company to drastically cut costs, or make a loss expecting to make the money back in royalties.

right,we agree that education is the way forward....good. the only way to settle this is to get $300 together and go out and see which one of us has the best games to play. to be fair all parts must be new and rrp but you can self build if you want to.....go!skilfulgary

You probably spent around $300, $400, or $500 on a laptop or a desktop computer. So it took you, i'm gonna guess... around $600+ to be able to game and browse online and whatever else you do on your PC. Why am I combining the cost? Because PCs are a necessity these days, I doubt too many people own a console and not a PC, especially if they're on System Wars. I should tack on the XBL subscription fee price to that number but i'll leave it be just because.

For that price you can get a pretty damn good gaming PC. And it'll do gaming much better than consoles. Even if you spend $100 more on a PC ($700), getting a gaming PC would be unquestionably better for gaming. Consolites have to nitpick for ownage to justify their console and price/sub. fee, PC gaming shows ownage on a vast level so I think it can still easily get away with that.

What I just realised is casual console gamers are completely blind to this stuff anyway. I tried to show some college classmates the Fault Line BF3 video and they said "that looks the same as playstation" I felt like hitting then :P

They look pretty sweet. It would be awesome to have games running in real time that good. Hopefully within the next few years as PC's get new GPU's and CPU's we will start seeing some next gen stuff
