I don't know if anyone posted this or not yet.. but.. target has the old style arcade on sale for 130 (apparently, in their ad it says 150 but they lowered it to 130 because it says it comes with a headset but doesn't) plus a 50 dollar gift card. I'm sure it's on sale to move out stock to make room for the new SCU, but it's a pretty good deal for anyone looking to get a xbox with usb port, newer cpu, ect. fastr

Got mine at gamestop only had to pay $50. Its sooo quiet compared to my launch 360 which had started to rrod. Lol have fun with my nearly broken 360 gamestop!

I don't think I need one, I have two 360's that work...but most importantly, I don't want the first batch. I don't want to beta test these suckers, so my advice is for people to wait a month or so. Check out Kuu's picture below posted in this thread as proof, to see what I've been saying for years, I don't like beta testing hardware.

Also, I'm not eager to RE-buy things and buy things again, that's also why I didn't buy a PS3 Slim. I already rebought a 360 for the Halo 360, I'm done.

Let this thread stand as an example on why companies re-release their hardware (DS's, GBA's, PSOne, PSTwo, PS3 Slim, N64 colors, GC colors), fans get excited and rebuy it.

I got mine. Got $130 towards it with my 2008 pro ($100 for console $30 for 20gb HDD). Also picked up 3 games with their buy 2 get 1 free deal. Good day for me! So far this thing is amazing. Such an improvement. Got rid of another network cable since it has Wi-Fi too. Now everything in my home theatre hooked up to the internet is wireless!

I called in today and they have one available, I went there to tally up my stuff and I would have only paid $63 for it. I had a $42 store credit too, so I would have paid $21 bucks to get rid of stuff I haven't used and played for the longest to get the latest and greatest. But when the GS guy told me the new 360 he was going to give was from a guy whose wife that got mad at him so he returned it, I didn't bite on the deal. It was the only one they had but it was a "returned" one. Who knows, those GS guys probably took it home and played with it and stuff. I wanted a new one, ah well every thing happens for a reason, so I guess I'll just wait for now.

So.... would you guys say a $80 Arcade is a good deal? The problem is that I'm planning to get a Harddrive, but I'm not gonna spend $50+ for 20 GB or more. I'd only use it for installs and the ability to play online/play Xbox games(if I ever get any). I'm just waiting for HDDs to be clearanced or for the prices to go down, but I don't know if that'll happen any time soon. I wouldn't pay more than $150 for a 360, since I plan on only playing single-player games(mostly exclusives) and I already own a PS3.

Meh, I'm probably going to wait until the warranty on my phat 360 runs out and that won't be for another two years. Anyway, I'm more interested in getting a Wii or PS3 at the moment.

a 20 would only fit about 2-3 games. 3 would only work if L4D2 or BC2 were what you had with 1 other game.

I suggest the 60 Gb at least. my 120 has around 10 installs a bunch of demos, and other random things and I only used ~55-60 Gb.

if you only play around 1-3 games at a time and have no interest in arcade titles, then a 20 would work. but I would still suggest a 60 at minimum.

1 console, they dont allow u to sell 2, 1 controller, red dead redemption, alan wake, 3 Hard drives 2 20 gigs, and a 60 gig, an AV cable and Madden 10 and I got286 and prepaid mine at GAMESTOP. SO i was gonna return 2 consoles but ended up returning 1 console so I kept my 360 and just used a 8 gig USB flash memory and it all worked out. UPgraded for basically nothing, gotta love Gamestop. Oh yah and I got Game Informer mag for a year with all this.

Hmmm, may think about it then. But the slim only has a one year warranty though. I'd be losing a year of extra security if I trade up.

Yes. I traded in a Arcade system i bought used over two years ago, along with a used 60 gig harddrive and wireless adaptor. My system was in bad shape. A plasma tv literally fell on top of my xbox, gouging out pieces of plastic, and my power brick was covered in dried lizard poop from my pet lizard, plus my wired controller was partially chewed on from my pet rat. I got $185 for all that junk. The Gamestop employee was looking at it in disgust, but he never said anything to me, he just tested everything..it all worked. So, now i have a nice shinny new 360 with more harddrive space and wireless N and a wireless controller. Thanks Gamestop.

I was thinking of getting one but the lack of good games on it annoys me, at $299 just isnt worth it but i'll keep checking it from time to time hopefully for a price drop maybe if not on the new one then on the old one, $300 isnt little not to mention taxs, games and paying online, not in a hurry personally but congrats to everyone who got one
