I hate them for two main reasons:

They're so damn greedy they think it's okay to treat their UK customers like **** with prices of £55

They turned my brother and several of my friends into CoD addicted **** holes.

I don't like the direction they are taking their business. And they are whats killing gaming, not piracy, not the wii, not casuals, but greedy non-innovative or chance taking business practices that have them selling the same game year after year.

I'm more disappointed in the people who despite knowing this continue to put down their money. Its like as if these people enjoy being exploited...

I cant hate them for making games like Prototype and Spiderman 2.

why can't anybody be honest and just say they hate them because they threatened to quit making games for the ps3? before that happened nobody here had a problem with them then all of a sudden they are #1 on the sw hates hit parade

Why would anyone hate Activision for doing what most companies do? You know what the biggest problem is this gen? The complaining. Nobody does anything about the problem they just run to message boards and complain, but will still spend the money anyway.

After all, how could you miss out on Call of Guitar Hero on Duty 11 with the Tank peripheral?

Don't waste your energy hating Activision, just don't buy their products when they offend your sensiblities.They run a business. They are supposed to try and make money off of you.

I will admit though, Bobby K. is a bit of a: fill in deragatory term here.

They milk every franchise they get their hands on. Oh and trying to make Brutal Legend a Guitar Hero spin-off, just horrible.

While it's pretty clear every company out there is focused on getting the cash out of their costumers, at least most companies pretend to care about the people supporting their products/services... Activision seems to be the exception to this.

They threatened to stop making games for PS3 unless Sony lowers price, they overprice their games (MW2 Prestige,DJ Hero, Tony Hawk), they milk GH and CoD, They raised the price of MW2, and many other reasons.

I dont hate them but somethings about them are not right

1. They milked most of their titles

2. They have too many games based on movies (spiderman , x-men , ice age ...)

3. They said Ps3 is expensive , but their games are ecpensive too

4. They remind me of EA before 2008

I hate what Activision has become. They now milk everything and senseless casuals just follow them in masses. Its sickening.

Anyway, Riverwolf... the hate for Actiision started slowly when they began to milk GH. Comments made this year just made it bigger and bigger.

I think youre forgetting about the remake for GC, the Metal Gear Solid 3 substistence, MGS 2 Substance, MGS Essential Trilogy, MGS PSP, The document of MGS 2, normal MGS 2, and etc. Shall I go on?

While you are partially right, the big difference is that the games they make are a whole lot different than the others... unlike Activision and their milkage, Konami actually bothers to deliver something different.

No MGS feels or plays the same as the others. Substance is worth just because of the VR training alone and Subsistance has the original MSX titles and MGO, so it's worth it as well.

This, not because of making it more mainstream though, I've never really liked it but Its getting so milked it hurts, c'mon we dontneed that many games just release the damn songs in dlcs or something (oh but they're doing that too right?).. And hate'embecause they're going the same way with CoD which I used to like (not love).

• Milking of formerly great franchises like GH and CoD
• Shady buisness practices (announcing the MJ GH game the day after his death)
• Trying to get brutal legend canned because the developers dont wana make it some milkage gimmicky GH game :roll:
• Dropping Ghostbusters because it wont sell a million units and cant be milked and rehashes like CoD and GH:|
• Driving CoD into the ground

as far as gh goes i have very little sympathy for people crying about it

if you played it, it's your fault they believe they can release a new game every 6 months or sell their games with $100 or $200 dollars worth of plastic toys

if you look at my gamertags you will see not one single achievement or trophy because i have never played it

people that bring things on themselves then cry about it later bug me

got a problem? don't buy the crap they sell it's as simple as that

Modern Warfare and WAW were EXCELLENT shooters. And MW2 looks awesome...Did I miss something?
