Yeah it's incredibly surprised that it's not Zelda, but it is well deserved, Xenoblade is a excellent game.

Dark Souls deserves it more but thats just my opinion.

No doubts linger - TES is simply one of the best gaming franchises ever made.

I know the score it got here, i meant overall, because it's surprising seeing Zelda, a flagship Nintendo title, getting beaten by a newcommer, so to speak. It 10 on most other sites, and 93/100 on Metacritic though.

It's hilarious watching your lists, I get a good laugh everytime.

I'm looking at a lot of their awards and I don't think I agree with 95% of them. The only one I did agree with was best arsenal, the rest were eh. The best puzzles award was a disappointing award as well. Batman, Zelda, and Ghost Trick all had great and unique puzzles. Portal 2 was a great game, and the puzzles felt clever, but they never felt original or too different from Portal 1. Speaking of that, Portal 2 came out with like 50% of the awards this year (even if it didn't get GOTY). It's a great game and all, one of the best this year I suppose, but I feel like it's a tad overrated. It lost some of it's charm and originality Portal 1 had.

I haven't played that many games this year. Need to play Rayman, Zelda, Ghost Trick, Bastion, Gears 3 and next year Xenoblade. :)

Seriously that 7.5 to Zelda SS was pretty entertaining. That Hyped thread got to over 10,000 posts, of course not all of it was towards the 7.5 review but a good number of it was towards it.
