[QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"]The controls were never bad, its clearly a developer decision and gamers would just have to adjust. Similar to RE4 the controls aren't typical for games in that genre.
In the MGS series it goes..MGS>MGS3>MGS2. But MGS2 had the most refined gameplay. MEtal Gear Solid 3 was a unique experience, not much to say besides that. YOu won't find another game like a MGS game.

um yeah, the controls were bad. In MGS2 for example you would have to hold 1 button to keep your gun out, 1 button to keep the current view and then press a third button when you wanted to fire your pistol.
And calling it a "developer decision which gamers have to adjust to" is a retarded statement. Guess what? Developers come up with crappy controls in games all the time. They are not beyond fault simply because its a "developer decision". All control schemes are "developer decisions" anyway.
:| How is that a crappy statement, several of my friends are like RE4 is so stupid you have press O or [] to run.. this is lame. I am just in awe and shock because there only in the village and there complaining about difficulty and blaming it on the controls.
I didn't have a problem with the controls, and i actually though the whole pressure sensitive gun release was a good control decision. The controls really weren't that complicated, and the aiming wasn't too sensitive like in other games. The grappling, wall sliding, rolling, jump out advanced techniques weren't hard to do at all. The only problem was the melee attack lol, CQC is probably one of the best Melee systems in gaming right now.
