Somethings seriously wrong here.
gsx1100
indeed, what's wrong with them?
even DoA is create base on VF's technology (SEGA was tech supporting Tecmo when they create DoA)
DoA4 is beautiful, but VF5 clearly is sharper and should at least score 9 or above for its graphic, and score at least 8.8 overally
stop crying...
Jeez that some people actually thought GS was a good review site after 2006...
Amazing for believing in these failure reviewers yet again -_-'
[QUOTE="bluebrad1974"]DOA has more content than VF5. VF5 is lucky it got what it did.Ghetto_KidSpoken like a true n00b. You probably just a fat as Gerstmann, anything that takes a little effort and commitment looses points. You'd probably start sweating if you tried playing VF. Stick to your button masher. Is Smash a button masher?
i like how the reviewer says that VF5 builds upon VF4 with new moves and characters, making for a great sequel, but vf4 got a 9.3.I think they may have expected more of a next gen fighting game. Bars are raised all the time. It's up to the developers to keep up with it.
so vf5 is an improvement from vf4, but it gets a lower score? wtf:?

This isnt the PS2 generation, where teh PS2 could get away with that so much. To all you button masher screams out there. I will just say this GOW2:Extreme button masher and look at its scores.

ps3-nikita
He was generous with the score.
Lack of single player variety and no online play pretty much should have brought the value down to a 6 at best. Yet he gave it a 7.

[QUOTE="danneswegman"]no, Vf5 wasn't there when DOA4 came out. you must concider the time factor too... if they were released in the same time, the score might have been different.ps3-nikitaWell maybe you forget all those lovely preview vids Sony showed of Vfs. Like alot of early 360 games, they were compared to that. PS3 are really feeling the scores now, becuase they overpromised on their power. What was it 2-3 times. I said it then and I say it now, the PS3 games should be looking 2-3 times as better then the 360 games, otherwise they should always score lower. Just like the Wii games should be docked points when it doesnt use the remote in any other way that a standard controller can be used. I say this because in both cases this is the biggest selling point of their console. It also is the points that have stopped people from buying other consoles to a degree. The same way a game on 360, maybe get docked points, because he online presentation isnt up to par or it doesnt really have much or any online if at all. VF5 scores in other places are like the Zelda scores. Too many fanbois cant review their fav games without being biased towards them. Blinds them from thier faults and let to many things slip by. The DOA series never had the fan base that niether Tekken or VF has.
I don't know what you're talking about. VF5 looks amazing. Especially considering it is basically a launch game. You cannot compare 360 and PS3 at this point. Too ealry in the PS3's life to judge it. Also, way too much emphasis is being placed on online play. Online should be an added feature, not the main attraction.
Game scores are one persons OPINION. You should take them with a grain of salt and form your own opinion AFTER you play the game.
So according to your cow logic:That don't make sense. It's only fair to compare a Fighter with a FIGHTER. Not a Genre to all Genre.

This is just plain moronic. I am starting to loose faith in Jeff. Sheep, I finally understand why you hated him so much when he flopped Zelda TP. The man truly is a black sheep, rogue missile, or whatever you want to call him.TimstuffDon't blame Jeff. It's his opinion. He's doing a job, and I know we will disagree with him sometimes, but in the end only your opinion counts.

The PS3 should be compared to the 360 after all Sony was bragging how much more powerful of a machine that it is. Remember when the original Xbox launched it was more powerful and it proved it from day 1 against the PS2.
Also about the online, any fighting game that is released this Gen. should have online. People don't have strangers coming over to their house to play games and the best part of fighting games is taking on a variety of compationÂ
kameo,pgr3,doa4>>>>>>>>98% of ps3 games according to gamespotwiistation360Does PS3 have a game that scored over 8.6?

Online with VF is currently a technical impossibility at the time due to lag on current internet technology. VF4 with no online > no VF4 at all. Stop holding this up like it's a legitimate reason for such a low score, because it's not. Jeff gave DOA4 a better score because it has bouncy hentai chicks, and VF4 doesn't. End of story.[QUOTE="wiistation360"]kameo,pgr3,doa4>>>>>>>>98% of ps3 games according to gamespotpins_basicDoes PS3 have a game that scored over 8.6? rfom.all the 360 games i listed scored 8.8
