You can check everything about the game and the PS3 version on the official PlayStation Blog, it even supports Move.

I already have Counter Strike for PC, with never ending mods and everything. Any modern day PC can run it. So I see no reason to buy this for PS3.

Not that it matters though, CS is full of cheaters and hackers, not a good game at all. COD is WAY better.

Why not just buy that Modern Combat game? It's cheaper than GO, and better than Source. I can't say if it's better than GO yet, but probably.

Don't know why you'd ever buy a CS game on console, but thats your choice.

From what ive played of the BETA its basically CSS with better graphics. Still alot of fun.

Can't see being played for more than 5 minutes on console.

I'm mostly wanting to see what zombie mod will be like compared to the older CS games.

Wow its coming out tomorrow? :O. I feel so sad, I had no idea and CS:S is probably my most played game. I hate not having a decent internet connection and a whole year where I have managed to play is PES2010 on xbox. Life is annoying sometimes haha.

Saying that though, when I checked out the videos I thought the game looked pretty horrible. Guns looked weird and oversized. I guess a bit like a L4D mod of counterstrike... if that were even possible haha.

I already bought and have been playing the BETA for a week now. I would like to clear two things up:

• Every PC multiplayer game has cheaters and as long as you play on a server with admins cheaters are not a issue at all.
• CS:GO is not CSS with better graphics... Anyone that's played CSS regularily and goes into CS:GO will confirm this. Righ off the bat you notice the difference in recoil and hit detection along with all the other tweaks and changes to the guns and maps.

On topic:

I took me a while to get into this but so far I am really enjoying it, its too early for me to say or even know if its better than Source or 1.6 but for £10 and the fact that its good enough for me to keep playing it hours on end... Does it even matter?

Each version of CS becomes its own game in the sense each version does certain things better than other version and have different followings. I loved 1.6 but prefered CSS and this games so far seems to be a mixture of the two... Which is a great thing.

Seeing as its peak player count today is 31,284and its still in beta. I think that this version has more of a chance of getting 1.6 gamers to switch than source.

I already have it. I couldn't imagine playing CS with a controller. It would be so clunky.

CS was the first competitive shooter with an extremely low TTK. It did it without iron sights or autoaim. Each gun had a very specific useage and was difficult to master. The meta game is also extremely unique as it makes you really think about which weapons to purchase depending on the map, objective, your teammates, your opponents, and your bank account.

That's still one of the most unique systems in gaming right now.
