Leveling them up is closer to Fable 3 than Dragon Age or Baldur's Gate. You can't equip them anything visible, rings, and accessory type items were always the last thing I cared about, a couple extra points of magic here, a little bit of HP there, but no longer can you equip arms, legs, head, body, its just fingers and belt pretty much. Also I see a number of lies and things that were changed from your link. For an example, it says the PC camera is similar to the Origins one, but that isn't true, in another interview recently they said that you can zoom out but not up, you aren't changing the angle, so its pretty irrelevant how far you can zoom out. 110million
If you read the original 1up preview of the game, where they demoed the tactical camera, it gives a better view over the battle, but it isn't isometric like in Origins. It's in the middle of third-person view and overhead. And the gameplay in PC version is mostly similar to Origins. This hasn't changed.
I don't see a big problem with that you can't give all your leftover armors to your followers. Now in DA2 your followers will wear what they are themselves comfortable with and you can still upgrade their armors/clothes. I think it should add to their personality. Only thing I'm a little bit disappointed is that I can't be an elf or a dwarf, but if BioWare'll give me a better story I won't mind that much.
I'm not sure about how they have changed the leveling and talent trees, but what I've seen they seem to be mostly similar to Origins, though there are fewer talents/spells, but this time you can upgrade and customize your talents/spells. Which one is better, we will see when the game is out.
Both console and PC versions will have auto-attack. PC version has auto-attack as a default and console versions have an option to turn it on. So button mashing is only for those, who like it that way.
