If it scores AAA on the PS3, then yeah +1. But how does that subtract an AAA from the 360? because its no longer exclusive common sense no?This topic is locked from further discussion.

Looking at purely how many 9.0+ games each system can run from this year (thats really what matters right, how many quality games it can run? Why else would you buy a console?), it seems that the 360 has 3... (Mass Effect 2, BFBC2, and Bayonetta) while the PS3 has 2, (BFBC2 and GoW), BFBC2 obviously being shared between systems. I fail to see how the PS3 is ahead. The xbox is the only console that can run the 9.0 version of Bayonetta, so it is really an exclusive experience (if the PS3 version barely scrapes an 8, then it sure doesnt sound like the "same" game"), and the xbox is the only console that can run ME2, just like the PS3 can run GoW3 while the xbox cannot. I see the xbox in the lead thus far...
[QUOTE="Ultra_Combo"]

:D :D and you cant use multiplats on PS3 and 360 because it scored 5 points more :D
I smell much desperation on lemmings who use such statements.
dude i have a 360, i own bayonetta, bad company 2, and mass effect 2, they scored AAA on gamespot, even if its on pc or not, they are AAA game that are on xbox 360, so dont act like 360 oners dont have AAA games this year lolTBH its taking them too long I think the show is getting a 8.5.Should be two AAAE titles for the PS3, I'm waiting on the MLB 10 The Show review. :)

desperation much
But this thread is looking at the consoles, nobody mentioned anything about any other formats....
This is solely looking at the two consoles and comparing them. If you want to include PC or other formats, then this should've been made to be an all formats thread. It is not. Stop grasping at straws.
even if its comparing two consoles doesn't mean PC doesn't exist and doesnt mean the games are exclusive and if you only want to include ps3/360in the discussionthen why are u using bayonetta ?

Sure can. If its not on the PS3 and this thread is comparing PS3 to 360, then you CAN use multiplats, because otherwise you MUST include the PC in the equation.[QUOTE="drakecool1"][QUOTE="Anjunaddict"] So you need to own two systems to match the 360? Okay ....Anjunaddict
im just saying you cnat claim ownage with multiplats thats like me saying look I have Batman AA, Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV therefore my system is winning.
see how ridiculous I sound ?
You sound ridiculous because those games can be played on the 360. The same can't be said for Mass Effect.ur using bayonetta thats on ps3 and 360
[QUOTE="drakecool1"][QUOTE="The_Game21x"]
Who said either of those games was exclusive?
Fact remains that Xbox 360 owners have access to one game that's better on the Xbox 360 and another that's not available on the PS3 at all. As far as I'm concerned, that's a plus.
The_Game21x
its a plus for PC owners and PS3/PC owners and Wii owners and even Xbox owners it's a plus for many people.
Yeah, but it's definitely a plus for 360 owners, since they need only own one system to play Bayonetta and Mass Effect 2 instead of two. :wink:pc owners only need one systm also

ok, if according to ur logic Bayonetta is an AAAE for 360 why doesn't the ps3 have 3 AAE's according for ps3? lol it's not exclusive so if you can count Bayonetta why not count Batman AA or Final Fantasy as also exclusives for 360 ?

there isn't splinter cell conviction that's multiplat so will be available for another system you do have Alan Wake while we have MLB The Show 2010, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy Versus, Twisted Metal and many other potential actual AAAE games to counter.

I never said Bayonetta was a 360 exclusive.
I'm merely stating that the 360 has a superior lineup of games thus far.
It's all about the individual gamer. If the gamer has a gaming PC, ME2 doesn't count. If he doesn't, ME2 counts to him.
IMO, overall quality of games, PS3 leads because of Heavy Rain and GOW3 not being found anywhere else.

Simple, someone who owns just a 360 would have access to better games than someone who owns just a PS3 this year. Was that so hard?Wait what? 1. Windows 7 wasnt released in 2010 and 2. Windows 7 is a Mac OS X ripoff... I cant tell if your supporting Microsoft or bashing them. Either way meh. To this topic, M$ will have some great games this year. Halo Reach looks good. Tho I think for the first half Sony owns it.Sony and MS are companies. Since, we're comparing companies, I'm just going to mention Windows 7 and leave the thread quietly...

Lots of great games coming out this year. I think it's gonna be the best year this gen :). And as a 1st party, Sony isn't disappointing. I do think Alan Wake has a good chance of getting AAAE though. That will make two AAAE for May: AW and Mario Galaxy 2!
EDIT: As for the notion that 360-only owners have no awesome games to play: bah! GTFO if you think that! Not pointing any fingers :).

No I wouldn't exclude pc owners if this thread had anything to do with the PC. Unfortunately, it is a direct comparison between the PS3 and the 360. You can't use two consoles to try to beat one. Make another thread comparing all consoles, and then the PS3 has a case.[QUOTE="Wassmansdorff"]I only have a PS3 and i beat Mass Effect 2 on my PC, MULTIPLATS ARE NOT BEING DISCUSSED HERE! So the only way the PS3 is better than the 360 this year is if the PS3 owner has a PC as well. Makes perfect sense. If the PS3 and the PC are on a team, can the 360 get the Wii?
