[QUOTE="GreyFoXX4"][QUOTE="locopatho"] You can have a PC, but if you use PS3 + PC lineup against 360 you are clearly stacking the odds, 2 systems vs 1. And basically admitting that PS3 can't stand against 360 by itself. Which is pathetic. You can play Mass Effect 2 on your PC, yes. I can play Civ 4 on mine. What the **** does this have to do with 360 vs PS3?locopatho
Dude, your using mulitplates to make your argument. So whose system can't stand by itself? To me it would possibly be the system that literally has no 1st or 2nd party devs. And since MS recently have sold 90 gazillion copies of windows 7 and vista, its a pretty good prediction theres alot of people that can play ME2 that don't even own a 360. But only about 35 million ps3 users can play Heavy Rain. Heck I own a sweet pc rig but have no interest in ME2, so its not really that big of a deal that you need to void out the pc just to claim ownage with a mulitplate game.
P.S. Do you really think that someone who owns a pc and a ps3 would need to go out and buy a 360 just to play me2, or really want to? No because they can already play it if they want to, its called a mulitplate for a reason.
I'm using the games I can play on my 360 vs the games one can play on their PS3. An incredibly simple, straight forward argument. Yet some people want to use their PC games along with their PS3 games to claim a win over 360. Illogical and pathetic. Those bazillion people who play it on PC are grand, but what do they have to do with PS3 or 360? Again, I play Civ 4 on my PC, and I'm not trying to use that against PS3 because it's clearly madness to start bringing up PC games in a 360 vs PS3 discussion :? If someone wants to come out and say, "I have a PC and PS3, therefore I don't need a 360 or its multiplats!", that's a perfectly sensible, reasonable, logical argument. If someone says "PC games mean my PS3 is better than 360!" that's simply nonsense.Excusives have always been the big focal point around here. Having a multi-plat that another console doesn't, or having a higher scoring version of a multi may be the extra point, but high rated exclusives are, and always have been, the touchdowns.Of coarse ME2 being on 360 is a plus for 360 vs ps3, but not as big a plus as say GoW3 is for playstation. If you want to play GoW3, you must own a PS3. Period. The same cannot be said of ME2 and 360. And while you're point about comparing 2 systems to one has some validity (obviously PS3 + PC is better than just 360), it also bears pointing out that PS3 + PC is far better than 360 + PC, since many of the 360's heavy hitters (ok, all of them so far this year) can be played on PC/PS3, while PC/360 misses out on all the PS3 exclusives. You know, since they are actually exclusive.
In other news, the thread should have ended as soon as this was posted:
