Wow SW has reached a new lvl of depravity. So let me get this straight a 9 or a 9.5 isn't a great score any more? If thats the case gents you might as well stop playing games all together, because the games you play will be few and far between. In my humble opinion U2 has reached its hype because fanboys are all ready doing DC.

Well, I don't know about IGN, but GS doesn't subtract points for flaws. They just give the game the score they think it deserves overall. Maybe IGN thought that the game wasn't quite 10/10 good. That doesn't mean there's a .5 of bad in there.

lol, well they must've been high when they played GTA4 cause i'm haven't even played UC2 yet and i can already say that it has WAY less flaws than what GTA4 has

well I haven't played it either so I can't say one way or the other, but unless it scores a 10 on gs GTA4 will be the better game

It's not that they shouldn't do it, it's that they probably won't do it. Sites like GS and IGN understandably want to space out the 10s because it's a pretty big deal when they give such a score. If they do it too much, their reputations could suffer.

It's possible that they'll just make the call to give it a 9.5 even if they think it deserves 10, just to be safe.
