Did you read the review? He didn't feel that it deserved a 10, and for decent reasons. Although if the multiplayer is really that great then maybe they shoulda given it a 9.8 or something. They described the single player experience alone well worth the $60 and said that the multiplayer component feels like ND were giving away a game away "for free." Hmmm...

Anyway, MGS4 and GTA4 sure didn't deserve 10s.
