I would say no, mainly because after playing the demo, it sure seems to be nothing more than a glossed up port, with of course a few more things like an extra playable character and a few more levels in the final version, but nothing that would signify a completely new or different game from NGB or NG for the XBOX.

Any way, what do you guys think? Also do you think TN is going to put NGS on the 360 or are they just going to work on NG2 and that will be good enough?

Its a toughie alright, because on one hand it has exclusive content, on the other hand, you can play Black on the Xbox/360 that uses the same engine and has a good 80%+ of the content that Sigma has.

No way! it's a port.  A very good port, but a port none-the-less.  Heck cows don't even count GRAW as exclusive even though it's completely different then the PC version (more different than NGS is vs. NGB).  So no way does NGS count as exclusive.

But I'm sure it's a great game and cows should be happy to play it.  They shouldn't be concerned that lemmings played it last gen on the xbox.

Abso-fricken-lutley not...but nice try though.  If we are going to look at it in terms of having more gameplay, than games like GRAW on the 360 should be considered exclusive AAA since there was absolutly no comparison on any other console.  But they weren't, so all those ps3 fanboys that cried that GRAW wasn't an exclusive have to suffer the consequences of their actions.

Allow me to revise my statement.  I don't think it should any longer be counted as an exclusive AAA if it does make AAA, but I still stand by what I said: it's not a port, it's a remake.

It is a port. Already been proven over and over again in this very thread, otherwise every game that is ported/remade with extra content will all of the sudden be exclusive. So I guess RE4 for the PS2 is exclusive? How about RE4 for the Wii? How about Oblivion for the 360? How about GTA IV for the 360?

When the same exact gameplay is intact along with more than 80% of the original content, its a port. The only difference is that NG is a glorified port, with extra features and better graphics.

And i agree about the AAA, i really think it can get it, although GS could definately downplay it because its a port, but we'll see.

Either way its gonna be an awesome game regardless of the score it recieves and the cows should be happy enough with that.

meh....I played the demo on PS3. Still a great game, but a game I basically played 3yrs ago.

To be honest, I wasn't blown away with the graphics either. They looked like exactly what they are; Upscaled NGB Graphics.

I'll buy NGS when it's around $40. No way am I paying $60 for a game I played 3yrs ago and still have in my game collection.

Cows can't catch a break this gen.  Even when a good game is released on their system they can't take credit for it. :(

Remember REmake, that had an entirely new engine new story arcs etc., that was a remake, NG:S is definately more of a port than a remake. IMO
