[QUOTE="Trmpt"]It's GRAW again.I'm surprized that no one has used the,
"how is it exclusive when the LBP PSP product page says also on PS3?"
argument.

I'm always amazed at how quick cows are at changing their logics to suit their arguments.
They don't earn any money off of forcing gamers to want a PC with windows rather than a mac or linux. You look to much at the short term and not the bigger picture. You are correct that is my mistake on the DirectX 9 working with Mass Effect it does not change any game using DirectX 10 will not work with linux. DirectX 9 does but you have to jump though some hoops. I had to write a 5 page paper talking about this very subject about 2 years ago. It was before Mass Effect came out and many though it was going to use DirectX 10. I did not know they had used 9.[QUOTE="washd123"]
-_-. first ME uses DX9 not DX10. second you seem to be missing this. windows is merely a program. MS earns money off the intial sale thats it. they have no control nor do they make money off of gaming on the platform.
they dont own the gaming platform
HarlockJC
i hope that paper got an F because youre missing everything. because other than windows sales they dont make money. if i made a windows only game right now it doesnt mean MS gets any profit. they dont. also games can coexist with DX and opengl meaning there are DX games thatll run on linux.bottom line MS makes nothing from the actual sale of the game unlike on the 360 where every 3rd party game still nets MS profits.
that said thats not the only aspect the biggest is control. MS has no control over the games that come out for windows. unlike on the 360 where they can do what ever they want. they can say no games with children in it. they have no control. they can say all game on windows have to support the 360 controller and windows LIVE. they simply cant.
bottom line. MS doesnt own or control the pc platform for gaming.
There is a differences from system vs system compared to company vs company.[QUOTE="washd123"]and so what if its 'system wars' that doesnt change the meanings of words. its not like the dictionary suddenly fails to exist in here

im aware. but the term 'exclusive' can still apply regardless.
It's GRAW again.[QUOTE="mitu123"][QUOTE="Trmpt"]

I lol'd so hard with your post...Made my night.I came in here thinking people were still aruging over LBP...what was I thinking.

This has become the Energizer Bunny of silly treads....
LBP is, at this moment, exclusive. No matter what you think, know, suppose, read, or heard about the game. Because the PSP edition isn't out.
So, for Pete's Sakes, Stop feeding the trolls. Just wait and let the facts of the game speak for themselves. If you weren't gonna convince them it was a new game in the first 450+ posts, you're not gonna do it now.
If the core game is still the same between the two versions, then no it's not exclusive. If the two are dramatically different, then yes it is exclusive.Stevo_the_gamer
Stuff like this is incredibly difficult and vague though.
I mean the core in Halo 1, 2 and 3 has been the same and so has the core for most franchises.
The PSP version is much different from the PS3 version. They are two completely different titles, just from the same series. Where did you get that riddiculous idea? You could even say that God of War and God of War II are not exclusives because Chains of Olympus is on the PSP.With the PSP version coming out, with the same title and gameplay concept, will LBP remain exclusive? I mean we already don't count MLB exlusive so it only makes sense not the count LBP...

When I say core... I mean, the core of the game is the nearly the same between the "two (or more) versions". You're thinking of a different aspect -- I'm not talking about how the game controls and the flow of the game, nor the artsty1e, ect.
Which is easy to tell when you play a COD game, or a Halo game -- the game feels like a Halo or COD game.
I'm not telling of that aspect. When I say the core of the games between the two versions; I'm leaning towards the level design, the sound design, the enemies, the story, the gameplay and interactions, ect.
Edit: And it's not difficult, it's actually very objective -- things like I said above can be viewed objectively and very easily. Like it's really hard to tell that two versions of the same game have the same objectives.
Please every one read this post!*sighs* this thread is still going? different developer, different story mode, different levels its an exclusive can we stop arguing in circles?Richymisiak
My heartfelt apology.... It is easy to forget we are not all mainly men in tightsIt's her's Harlock :P
And ermac, Two Worlds was a good game, a flawed game, but a good game nonetheless, perhaps you should go by personal experience and not what reviewers tell you...
Care to show me the list of PS3/PS2/PSP shared exclusives?

Every man on here does where tight tights....right?
