So I guess a lot of those 360/PC games are MS exclusives then. I think I like your logic!its a sony exclusive. until it appears on a platform not owned by sony its a sony exclusive. technically its no longer a ps3 exclusive though

It is an exclusive game. The games are completely different. It is the same as new super mario bros ds and wii. if its not the same game and merely a spinoff or a similar game in the same universe than yes its still exclusive. i thought it was the same game pretty much.[QUOTE="washd123"]

no not at all. MS doesnt own the pc platform. if they came out for the zune then yeah theyd be MS exclusives.

LBP is still PS3 exclusive. LBP PSP is PSP exclusive. There are no Sony exclusives, MS exclusives, or Ninty exclusives.

some do but its still not the same thing. you buy a license from MS to use windows. outside of that they have no control unlike 360 or zune (provided the zune HD paves the way for games). they can set standards and do whatever they want. if they wish to charge $99 per 360 game they can. if they want to have it so yo ucan only play 360 games on a tuesday they can. if they want to require all 360 games have kangaroos in them they can. not with windows as a gaming platform they have no say. and if it wasnt for DX being windows only more and more companies would be producing open source OS games.

then they remain exlcusive to each platform and the franchise remains a sony exclusive. end of story.

But they require an MS OS. :(MS gets no money out of you buying a game from them. Really that is the biggest reason why it doesn't make any sense that it is a microsoft exclusive. All the money goes to the publisher/developer. Lets say a ds and wii game. 5 $ of the game goes to nintendo for that stupid seal of approval. Same with xbox360 3rd party sales and ps3 3rd party sales. It really hurts the consumer big time and the reason why games cost 60 $.[QUOTE="nhh18"]

MS exclusive?
Its only made for a MS OS so.........Soo........ what? I'm confused. Multiplats are multiplat. That's why they're called multiplat.
[QUOTE="washd123"][QUOTE="Trmpt"] Just like how mass effect is MS exclusive?Trmpt
its not though. again pc is not a MS platform.
Its using a MS OS.it doesnt matter. the OS is just a program technically. MS doesnt control the platform in any way shape or form.
As for this thread, LBP PSP has no online play, has two level planes, and has sharper controls. It's different. I don't understand why we can't just call them two seperate games instead of calling them the same game on different platforms because its clear that there are a list of differences that differentiates the two significantly.

They said that LBP is a Sony exclusive, so why no Mass effect. i defended this before but it really doesnt matter in System Wars tbh. So if MS cant say its MS exclusive then Sony cant say its Sony exclusive.ermmmm, if it's the same title and gameplay, then it's not exclusiveJandurin

Then take into account the games that are published by MS.ok. Mass effect on the pc wasnt published by MS.
if MS owns the game then yes its an MS exclusive in a sense. just like for instance if GT5 came to the pc (there were rumors) then itd not longer be a ps3 exlcusive but itd still be a sony exclusive since sony last time i checked owns that franchise.
back to ME MS doesnt own the franchise EA does.

GFW is different. MS owns some of the games in that catagory like Gears of war and halo 2. other than that it doesnt make anything. MS didnt make money from Crysis, nor supreme commander nor fallout 3. they dont own the platform end of story.
