FPS wise this year we got Project offset and battlefield 3, as well as battlefield bad company and that's all i got off to top of my head.

My fault for not countering any of those games with console exclusives.

I counter 90 percent Crysis with 93 percent Halo 3.

I counter 82 percent STALKER with 85 or 86 percent Resistance.

Funny i convinced a friend to get a PC instead of a Console. and he just got it setup and he loves it. He's pluged it into the TV and plays crysis with a controller, and ihe's gonna get gears of war, coop here we come :)

as he put it he got a high spec console.

You don't need to justify your console. X360 is the best one atm, the hardware problems are what turned me off. We got devil may cry 4 anyway. X360 has the best games and online, faulty hardware keeps it back. Sharing with us is better because i get your games and you get some of mine. In the end WE ALL WIN!

Naming two PC fps exclusives versus two console fps exclusives that came out in the last year and a half and comparing the scores they got. It seems like PC doesn't really get as many exclusives as it once did. Aside from Crysis, it doesn't have that many more "killer fps" titles.

Also, I'll let you guys note that I only own a Wii this generation. I bought my first PC game yesterday for the first time in three years: FEAR.

FEAR was a timed PC exclusive, and if PC gamers have their standards so high, how did it manage to get a 9.1? To be fair, I've only beat three missions, but there is nothing special about this linear, generic first person shooters. Total letdown.

Unreal Tournament 3 was exclusive for, like, 2 weeks. PS3 got it quite soon.

Quake Wars? Alright, that's another one, but consoles still get a lot of fps exclusives, too. Quake Wars is coming to the 360 and PS3, anyway. This year, fps-wise, PS3 is going to rule, and there isn't going to be any game that scores higher than Brawl or Metal Gear Solid 4.

Starcraft II. I'm willing to bet quite a lot that it will not outrank Brawl on GameRankings.

What? Have you ever heard of Crysis, The Witcher, or Stalker? Three very good reasons to own a PC, but that's only scratching the surface. The X360 has given up nearly all their exclusives to PC apart from Halo 3. And with better graphics, and in most cases, a better control scheme, the PC seems to be the superior platform here.

Therefore, X360 = useless.

-My friends own a 360, i like going to there house sitting on there couch, playing NHL/FIFa/NBA/ any sports game which is most comfortable played on a console, with a controller

-Cheaper

-Great selection of games

-I hate sitting slouched over playing games

-Achvievments are great,

-Many great games i enjoy on XBLA

-Easier just to put in game and go

-No install

The reason PC gaming doesn't get GOTY that often WoW was the last time because for some reason a PC game to get GoTY has to have such a dramatic impact on the industry for some reason. It can't even be a great game, it has to be exceptional and have a ridiculous impact. It's not even comparable to console games. Halo 3 would not score a 9.5 if it was released at the same time on PC. It's a simple fact.

The PC has higher standards for games because we hold ourselves to higher standards. Simple as that.
