That it will take atleast 3-4 years for the PS4's capabilities to be fully utilized. Hmm, seems to me that a certain group of people who frequent these forums have been doing nothing but ranting and raving about how the PS4 out the gate was going to destroy the XBOX ONE graphically speaking. Yet to date I simply dont see a game in the PS4 launch window that is head and shoulders above what the XBOX ONE is offering. So lets be honest here, for the forseeable future these consoles are pretty much going to be on even footing outside of maybe an exclusive here and there on either side. Like most of us sane, non-brainwashed people have been saying...."Theoretical numbers on paper don't mean a damn thing if they aren't used"!! Knack did not look great. The gameplay also looked pretty repetitive, but it might have a decent variety of enemies and challenges. The only positive thing I can say is the game looks like it will be a challenge. Two hits and your dead in this game it seems. There are 3 difficulty levels. Ryse looks like it's graphics were downgraded compared to what we saw at the E3. The game still looks buggy. I wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed until next year. It doesn't look like it's ready for launch.

Those videos don't look good at all. Both E3 demo videos of Ryse and KS:SF looked 5x's better then what you are seeing in these videos. I'm concerned the finished product may look even worse at this point, since both of these games were probably demo'd on PC's or more powerful devkits.

That's nothing new for any console.  Graphics and capability get better as the devs learn the ins and outs of the box.

There is a base power difference (1.84tflops to 1.31 tflops), that will be seen from the start. Then there is a costumization difference, PS4 has higher GPGPU power (more compute queues and more ALU), has a Onion+ bus, hability to selectively invalidating cache lines without need to flush the caches.(X1 has Onion and Garlic bus, no Onion+ bus)

This will make the gap in power difference even bigger as devs get more used to the hardware. (And since GPGPU exist in the 3 main platforms, there is no CELL excuse that they need to program specifically for it, its just a case of scaling)

I'm not a sheep, cow, lem or hermit. I'm a gamer. I doubt there will be a huge gap between multiplat games on both systems. No one is delusional here. I'll be getting both systems. The only differences will be some FPS performances on each platform. No real deal breakers.

Uninformed gamer confirmed. This the MP so of course it will look it a bit worse than the single player(while also running at 60fps compared 30fps Ryse and still looking a ton better) and these are low res GIFs. God you are an idiot.

As I said before I'm a sheep. Graphics don't really matter at all. But I'm not in denial either. I realise that the Wii U is behind the X1 and PS4. But I also realise the X1 is behind the PS4. To say otherwise is foolish. 

Not surprising. Even the 360, which is known for it's easy to develop for hardware, lasted 6 and 7 years to show it's best looking games (Gears 3, Halo 4 and Forza Horizon).

As for the poll, i think PS4 is slightly more poweful than X1. Not a big deal, probably a Gamecube vs Xbox difference.

I'm not considering the price, just the hardware. Of course PS4 offers a better value (price/tech), especially if you are not interested on kinect.

*Shrug* The difference between the Xbone & PS4 will be nothing compared to the difference between PS4 & PC visuals in multiplats next year... Hell, the PS4 version of Watch Dogs looks like arse compared to the PC version, from what we've seen so far. FPS dips into the 20s, lower quality textures... But it's alright, because it's prettier than the Xbone version - right guys?

Witcher 2 was one of the best looking console games this generation, but it just couldn't compare to the PC version. Wait until Witcher 3 releases next year... Will be a fun comparison :)
