So my older brother (24 years old)

Came back from the war. and i hook up the wii and they play wii blowing and said they could play it all day long. Thats with another friend of his age.

So what does that explain to you all haters? (brother had a 360)

Most people I know say the same thing, than they buy a Wii, and a week or 2 later, they stop playing it.

How does this prove Nintendo targets older (unless you mean grannies?) audiences? I'm in my 30's and like I say it was awesome for 2 weeks. I've turned it on once in 9 months. By your logic this proves that older audiences think the Wii sucks and is only good for 2 weeks. Now do you see why personal observation is of no use?

i base my opinion on my experience, i downloaded bomberman from XBLA played it alot with my bro and had plenty of fun.......now i dont even remember last time i played that game. no matter how good the game is yoiu will get sick of it sometime and thats why wii fails, it doesnt have many quality games, yes wii sports and stuff are fun but after playing them for a while you get sick of em.

no i know there are good games on wii but not many, i can only think of 5-6 games and multiplayer on wii is crap as well. so for me once i complete those games there nothing else to do

That, that's exactly how Nintendo is winning this gen...

People think "OMG this is sooo cool" than a week later they never touch the thing...well that's been the case for everyone I know that has a wii.

It has everything to do with it, when you go to Iraq for extended periods of time, you lose "contact" with everything else happening, when you get back everything seems new, he had NOTHING to do in "the war", coming back to the U.S. EVERYTHING is cool, its like a culture shock.
