So, now maybe Forza 3 gets some deserved appreciation?

Forza 3 is what Forza 2 should have already been. Maybe GT5 did dissapoint a little (considering the development time and hype), but I still see Forza just as a solid GT copy. After all, look at what the next Forza will be - a Kinect game. Face it, the Forza team knows who's the King and that they can't compete directly with GT anymore. Even Xombies know GT is the better game they just don't want to say it. But I will say that Forza has better track detail. 360's memory subsystem is just better.

kinect implementation is optional :|

and Forza has been outscoring GT since inception, if you prefer GT that's fine, but GT hasn't been king for a decade now

how can it outscore something that hasnt been released since now? :| and besides gt4, forza still hasnt outscored gt (going by metacritic)

Thing is when a game is in development for over 5 years it is expected to be 100% perfect. If that isnt achieved then it is a huge problem. Especially when other driving games FORZA or NFS seem to come out a lot quicker and are pretty much as good or better to some....

Im sure GT5 is more technical and has more to offer as it should...

Some people are jumping the gun. The review isn't out yet :?

And GT5 is not disappointing at all. As a racing sim, GT5 is better then Forza 3.

Agreed. The pure racing is unmatched. The menus suck and are clunky as hell, a lot of the features I could care less about (NASCAR, Drifting) but the game shines when you're on a great track with some great premium cars going at it.

Just a thought. We have all been sitting around waiting for "the ultimate driver simulation" when one of the best games of that genre has already be out on the market for a year. Are any of you, who passed on Forza 3 all year, considering checking the game out now, especially those who are dissappointed with the new "driving simulator"?

Already played it this summer. I'm not disappointed in GT5 at all. In fact, I've done more in GT5 in 3 hours than I've done in Forza 3 overall. And had a blast doing each one. Forza bored me.
