I mean when you consider all the awesome games it has later this year as well as the price drop its most likely gonna be getting its not hard to predict that the 360 will be very close to being surpassed by it come spring 2008.

If you add up the NPD and media crate numbers, the slap on another million for Europe, the PS3's maybe sitting at 4 million, and that's being generous.

Remember cows, the Wii's been out-selling the PS3 by 2 to 1 in the US and 5 to 1 in Japan since launch, give or take. When you're getting beat that badly, you're not a mere 1.5ish mil away from the competition.

That article is clearly referencing Sonys FY 06 Report that listed 5.5 million Units were produced. with less then 3.5 million sold.
