We've got plenty of good Simulators, 4X, cl4ssic adventure and TBS games this gen so I have no idea what you're getting at. Oh, look...yet another FPS for the PS3/Xbox. :|

I had a look into Recettear. It's an interesting concept, starting up your own shop. The combat leaves a lot to be desired by the looks of these videos though:-

Maybe this will end some of the PC is dead threads.

The demo for Amnesia is out.. Its actually quite scary and creepy.. To be honest these Europeans seem to be way ahead of the ball in horror thats much more then jump out and scare type thing when it came to video games.. After playing the demo I came to the conclusion that I could hardly consider the old Resident Evil series a survival horror game like this.. sSubZerOo

I think the demo is a somewhat poor representation of the full game. I honestly wasn't even scared of the demo....at all. However the full game is much more exciting and scary. One of the moments that struck out for me was in the storage are. I was simply walking around looking for items and opened a door only to be greeted by a monster running towards me. I slammed the door, barricaded it, and ran like hell.

The best part about this game is that their are no jump scares. It never tries to make you jump with a loud noise(which happened all the time in Dead Space.)

There was no jump out scenes int eh demo as so much as a general tenseness and what not.. Furthermore I played in the dark with my really good headset which made it far more intense..

Seriously. Week-long LAN parties where you play one round are always awesome :P

Kinda makes me chuckle at some people still trying anything to bash PC. So many threads today hating on PC, it's getting funny. Show's PC is doing great.

Also makes me laugh how they slam certain genre's abundant on PC, mmo's, RTS and other strategy varients yet are constantly hyping the oversaturated, overused and darnright boring FPS genre.

Bought Amnesia, only played about 30 mins so far, great game. Cannot wait for Civ 5. Got demo of recettear but not sure i'd like it. Very cheap so may buy it anyway.

Screw Amnesia (downloading as we speak though), Starcraft 2 alone has sucked up more of my time then pretty much 99% of console games. I would really urge everyone and anyone who is even semi interested in gaming to give the game a shot. Its addictive, fun, competitive, overwhelming and amazing rolled into one. Overall though, its a good time to be a gamer, the only ones that miss out are really the ones that just limit themselves to one console...designer-

I'm more interested in Civ V myself. I'm sure Starcraft 2 is great, but I never got into the original because I always thought Warcraft 2 was way cooler, so the new one doesn't get me excited as a PC gamer.

Civ V is definitely going to be my strategy game to play this generation if I can get my hands on it.

I don't see anything new here.
