@charizard1605: I have always enjoyed your threads.
There's this stupid notion that if a game is out for both XB1 and PC, it doesn't matter anymore even if that game is not available on PS4 or Nintendo.
If this is how some people think in the real world, I hope they never reproduce.

Except I've counted all XB1/PC games as exclusive in the OP, so I'm not sure what your point is?
@charizard1605: You forgot Shenmue 3 (slated for Dec but will probably be delayed). Many fans are expecting a Shenmue HD Collection to be announced at E3 for PS4/PC hopefully for a fall release (hope and conjecture).
That's because Suzuki has already said he is looking at other platforms to bring it to beyond just PS4.
@charizard1605: I have always enjoyed your threads.
Thx
And contrary to what it might look like, I don't wish failure on MS. I don't want the Scorpio to fail.
You expect us to believe that?
hes on to you
Well, shit
Below is coming to PS4 as well
proof? i dont recall seeing that
Ah, no, you are right, the source I remembered was pulling BS. Added it to Xbox's list.
could be what you were thinking of.
Last year, the Critter Crunch creator pointed out on its blog that the title was merely a timed exclusive, and will “go elsewhere” eventually. “It’s always been this way,”
I don't think mems should be nitpicking about Charizard's list. There's far more missing from PS4's side when you start counting indies.
The Xbone list is pretty sad, it'll be funny to see all the lems doing damage control. Switch and PS4 will dominate 2017!
Presuming we could Xbox One/Windows 10 games as Xbox exclusive, this is the state of the exclusive lineup for Microsoft's console:
That's it. That's all the exclusives that are coming to Microsoft's system. Contrast this with PS4:
What is this, exactly? Why would anyone actually pick the Xbox at this point? In fact, if you want to buy a second system, why would you not go with the Switch, which will probably get more exclusives in the first year than Xbox has so far?
The worst part is that none of Microsoft's exclusives are even actually exclusive, they are all available on PC, after all. Even if I prune Sony's list similarly, we are still left with the bolded games, which is a far stronger showing than the entirety of Microsoft's list. Seriously, what gives?
Xbox exclusive line up looks better than the PS line up so far for 2017
Looking at the PS line up in comparison, one has to wonder why PlayStation's even sell.

Gigantic! That's another one, I'm going to add that to the list.
Sony has a nice list of games coming out this year, that's for sure. I'm definitely interested in Horizon, Days Gone, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Spider-Man, God of War & The Last of Us 2. I'm also interested in Crackdown 3, Cuphead, State of Decay 2, & Halo Wars 2...lol. I don't own a Playstation 4 though at the moment, just been playing on my Xbox One S. I'm waiting for E3 to see what gets unveiled and what gets shown from all 3 companies...

You are missing quite a few more than that as I mentioned above.
You need to add Gigantic, Tacoma, Phantom Dust, Raiden V, Forza Motorsport 7, Cities Skylines, Ashen, Students of the Round.

MS now have a pattern of cancelling games very far into development, so personally, I wouldn't hold your breath on any of these releasing at all lol.
lol @ phantom dust on your list
@charizard1605: You forgot Ashen on the Xbox side and a couple games on the PS4 side as well.
I agree with you though...no real interest in halo wars or crackdown, plus the first state of decay didnt look that great....
other than sea of thieves its not looking good for microsoft. curious to see what this year at e3 brings, if they will announce any new games or just plow straight on ahead into project scorpio.

At least they release games, lol!

So... what does PS exclusive lineup even look like at this point?
Updated list:
Xbox
PlayStation
RE: Raiden V.
To the people mentioning that, do you guys know that M2 recently made what is arguably the best port of an arcade game ever (Aside from Tekken, since it literally runs on modified Playstations) for PS4? Battle Garegga rev 2016.
Shmup fans were crying tears of joy at the announcement of Battle Garegga rev 2016. You guys should check this game out -- it released in Japan in December 2016, but M2 is planning on a western release this year. Add that to the PS4 list.
At least they release games, lol!

This thread literally throws any announcement made by MS into second guessing though. Think you missing the point there. lol
@kvally: Mate, you want to list every single exclusive game announced for XB1, I can do the same for PS4, but then the list will get hilariously lopsided. I didn't even list stuff like Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD, DanganRonpa 3, Ys 8, Shenmue 3, Dynasty Warriors 9, Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Zero Escape: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, Patapon, Parappa the Rapper, Wipeout Omega, Crash Bandicoot, and so on. You want to do that, I can do that. I decided to keep things relatively conservative, by listing only meaningful big games coming to both systems- you sure you want an actual full list?

As it does anytime Sony cancel games and studios, lol! No point missed anytime these threads come up on both sides. Sucks, don't it?
Most of us gamers don't want to lose any games on PS, Xbox nor PC.
and all of those games aren't really exclusives! they're going to be on Windows 10 too!
True. The sad thing is that the Xbox should not have had exclusives pulled from Windows to begin with. Xbox and Windows should have been the same platform ages ago. That move was a dumb move by MS and now they are trying to rectify their error.
and all of those games are really exclusives! they're going to be on Windows 10 too!
All of the PS4 games are going to PS Pro too!
All of those Xbox One games are on Xbox One S too!
All of those exclusive PS3 games going to PC via PS Now too!
and all of those games are really exclusives! they're going to be on Windows 10 too!
All of the PS4 games are going to PS Pro too!
Do you mean PS Now? or are you talking about PS4 Pro? Cause a PS4 Pro is still a PS4 no matter how you spin it.
But Windows 10 is not an Xbox One. There's a difference.
Also PS Now is hot garbage and no where near the same as you actually buying a product on the Windows 10 store and playing it on your PC.

I haven't even listed the entire list for Xbox either, so not sure what your point is? Major Nelson has announced nearly 100 indie games this past year that never appeared on PS4 either. So if you are going to make a list, make a real list. Not one that you pick and choose to sway things in your favor.
That is trolling. BTW, Shenmue 3 is on Xbox as well.

No, that's me keeping things simple by listing announced games, officially confirmed for release, that are moderately big and anticipated, and avoiding remasters. Like I said, I could very easily list every single game coming to Xbox and PlayStation right now, but that would be sad- PlayStation VR alone would run circles around the Xbox One exclusive lineup.
I don't want to do that. This thread was made questioning sales potential, so I specifically picked games that could have some mass market appeal. It's a simple set of circumstances, whatever agenda you have to push, you can take elsewhere because it doesn't belong here.

Your post was an agenda, and it belongs here? You purposely chose to eliminate games, and you never said why you chose the games you did until you got called out on it.
PS Pro =/= PS4. They are two different consoles.
uh...no, they're not.
One may be better spec'd, but you wouldn't really tell from just looking at them. Most PS4 games don't really benefit from having a PRO. It's mostly just VR experiences that'll get enhanced.
A PS4 Pro is still just a PS4.

Yup! ROFL and Sony's keeps getting more and more bare bones, ROFL!

I actually have the entire premise laid out in the OP, if you would read it beyond the list. I also explained this before to @FLOPPAGE_50, who was actually interested in having a meaningful discussion about the topic, instead of whatever nonsensical trolling you are engaging in.

If PS4 Pro is a new console, Xbox One S is a new console, as is PS4 Slim, PS3 Slim vs PS3, etc.
It's a slippery slope into the abyss.

It's better than the trolling you are engaging in. We will agree to disagree.
@charizard1605: you're a bit of a dramaqueen, aren't you? Microsoft stops development of a game you liked, but apparently sucked, and suddenly the whole console and company needs to be questioned.
The industry is just in a very bad shape for big games. If you can't deliver properly you're out because it costs too much for the returns you're getting. There's a reason why Apple and Google never fully went for a gaming console, but chose the easy way with apple tv. Risks are very high, and even going breakeven is hard. So you think Spencer likes cancelling projects? They know there's going to be bad press, and still they did it. That's how much money they were losing for 3-4 years on a failed project.
Platinum failed.
