PC. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and Starcraft 2 in the same year. Next would be the Wii, followed by the PS3, then the 360 in last. IMO of course.

Well the 360 had the most AAA titles released for it this year, so I guess objectively the 360 had the best year.

360 11 AAA titles

PS3 8 AAA titles

PC 5 AAA titles

Wii 1 AAAA and 1 AAA title.

PC/Wii are tied, followed by PS3 then 360.

Wii because of the great exclusives. Super Mario Galaxy 2, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Monster Hunter Tri, Capcom vs. Tatsunoko, GoldenEye 007, Sonic Colors, Metroid: Other M, Sin and Punishment: Star Successor. Wow.

On xbox 360 i played

Mass Effect 2 (stnning sci-fi RPG, hero import from ME1)

Fable 3 (my top game of all time, best art ina videogame)

Divinity 2 Dragon Saga (one of my top WRPGs)

Alan Wake (best looking console game)

Fallout Vegas (bought, best console version, exclusive DLC on 360)

Splinter Cell (rent)

Gothic 4

Two Worlds 2 (one of my top WRPGs, best lighting on consoles)

Kinect (best sports games i have played by far, next gen)

There is no such thing as general consensus, only fanboys that always call any 360 game a dissapointment, same as happened with Fable 1 and even more with Fable 2

Unless you have like 2-3 million comments on the game, which would indeed mean something

You do undersand that the opinion of 100 people in a forum, of which 90 are PS3 fanboys trying to downplay anything 360, is not much important comparing to how 4 million actual buyers actually feel about the game

So, if you can prove that general consensus with some serious numbers and not 5-10 user posts, i will accept it

I think there really should be more wii votes but I wouldn't expect anything less from system wars

That consensus was in place before the game even released on these boards. That's the problem with System Wars so many people say how lousy a game is, even when they don't have the system to play the game on. Most people who have actually played the game like it.

Actually here in system wars and gamespot is practically the only place where I've seen people praise the game into the heavensand generally ignore that is in fact just a good game. Because something can only be disappointing based on the assumptions you have prior to going to it.

As an example: Invisible Wars is generally considered a massive disappointment despite being a good game.

To me was the PC with games like Dawn of War 2,Napoleon: Total War,Amnesia: The Dark Descent,Civilization V,STALKER: Call of Prypiat,Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead,Football Manager 2011 and of course,Starcraft 2.And there´s even Cataclysm in December.

All high rated games.

PS3, imo. Not only because of the games, but also because it is now considered the premier console by a lot of people. Not that the Wii doesn't have great exclusives, because it does, but the PS3 reminds me of the older Nintendo consoles where the exclusive games are high and above the competition.

If your counting sales then Wii; otherwise the PS3/360/PC all got more or less the same games.

At least for YOU. I own both of the consoles. Halo Reach is the only game that compares to the ps3 exclusives, as far as polish goes. Also, just a few years ago the ps3 was considered a lackluster console that didn't have any games and was very overpriced. Now, on the other hand, it is completely the other way around--it has a lot of GREAT games and is considered the best "deal" out of the 3 consoles.

I play games, not polish levels, that is why the super polished games like FF13, MGS4, Uncharted 1-2, Killzone 2, GOW3 have been some of the most indifferent to me and my best games are the less polished but huge Fable 2-3, Mass Effect, Alan Wake, Lost Odyssey, Demons SOuls, Fallout Vegas, Divinity 2 etc

I choose deep involving gameplay, huge open worlds to explore and less polish, than boring 7 hours shooters and action games with shallow gameplay, linear small worlds and zero exploration

360 is still considered the best deal, that is why is 10.000.000 ahead of PS3 in US and has by far the best games, unless you like polished short shooters more than anything, which is what PS3 mainly has

PS3 even lost Project Dark, the only real great game it gets in future and so far i only like Demons Souls on it
