The game does not look fun.

I think this Sonic game is most likely going to score AA.

I'd be surprised if it scored higher but just by virtue of the fact that it looks better than most of the recent Sonic games reviewers might get caught up in nostalgia and rate it higher than it actually deserves just because it doesn't totally suck.

Mario has trancended Sonic ... They're not in the ame leage, Heck, they're not in the same Sport. Mario is Football, whilst Sonic is Baseball ... One is an international phenomenom, the other is a dying American game.

I like the platforming genre, but i'm not keen on the mario platformers. Which is a shame since that is almost all there is right now in terms of big names.

I wonder if i'm the only guy who would be infinitely more hyped for Tomba 3 than anything ninty could do with a mario platformer.

On topic: The swaying back, and orth a couple of times made me nauseas.

I only love the classic sonic games, not the modern stuff.

I'm still unsure about how this will turn out. That's why I'm still waiting for official footage.

At least they are trying their hardest to stick to the original. I still have the originals, and it isn't just nostalgia they still are pretty good and better than most modern sonics.

Ha ha, oh boy, Sonic Fanboys have gotten this delusional since Sega died and left the ghost of it's self. Sonic hasn't done any anything worth it since Sonic Adventure 2. And you really think this game with do anything to Super Mario Galaxy, and I can't really believe that you Sonic fans are still going at this, Mario has transcended, even some of this spin offs are top games. Let me know when Sonic has had one of the highest rated games of any generation of games. Sonic isn't dead, but surely he's on life support with Mario off doing party and not caring.

Seriously, why the hell did they actually think Sonic needed a mine cart level? I actually had hope for Sonic 4. Too bad it seems Sonic will still not be properly resurrected. Maybe there's still hope it will turn out good when it releases?

I stopped watching after about a minute and I have to say I could have found the worst level in Sonic history above the Labrtyhn Zone. That doesn't look impressive more daft than anything. It sucks and it made me sick. To say its gonna pwn Mario it won't. I mean remember Mario World. Mario World is possibly the best platformer ever with Mario 3. This actually is starting to not look to good. If it scores a 7 it will be lucky. Sonic Team know how to mess up a Sonic game.

Sonic was never as good as Mario. Came close, but Sonic never had the recognition or the constant quality that Mario has had for more than two decades.

I hope Sonic 4 is decent, and I do have some hope for it, but I'll wait until I can get my hands on it. There is not guarantee that is will be a bad at other recent Sonic games, or as good as Sonic 1-3.

If I gets A, I'll be happy. I'll play it regardless.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 looks to be a guaranteed AAA comeback title we've all been waiting for. From all the released videos and details so far, Sonic 4 looks to be absolutely amazing. Before you haters bring up the Sonic Cycle BS like sonic adventure 2, sonic heroes, shadow the hedgehog, sonic and the secret rings, Sonic the Hedgehog reboot, sonic unleashed, sonic and the black knight, etc., READ ALL THE AMAZING PREVIEWS and watch all the awesome footages first. If you do all of that, you will all believe and be hyped as much as I am (otherwise you're a blind fanboy). The reign of Mario is over, Sonic has finally come back to take his rightful place.

I don't think Mario is to worried about this. I mean no Sonic game has come close to his games like Mario World. This looks like being the worst 2D Sonic game.

Watched the video, the gameplay looked really clunky and painful. Maybe it'll turn out to be great though.

Look at the video again. You use the trigger buttons to tilt the screen... no motion controls.

I'll say it again...if you've played Sonic Rush on the DS then this is nothing exciting. 2D Sonic is fun...but nothing revolutionary.Bread_or_Decide
