doesn't look very good, it wasnt the fast paced sonic action that it used to be. he was in a kart that was getting caught on everything.

This might very well be Sonic's last shot at stardom. The problem was 3D gameplay, was it not? If this flops...it may be it for Sonic.

I don't know about Mario getting owned, but I'm glad to see Sonic go back to his 2D roots. The videos I watched on Xbox Live looked amazing, and seem to capture the excitement of what made Sonic fun, which was the sense of speed.Now all we need is Knuckles!

It's really too bad. When I was a kid, Sonic beat the pants off of Mario. Game is even good to this day.

Hopefully this will be decent, but I don't expect much.

I like the platforming genre, but i'm not keen on the mario platformers. Which is a shame since that is almost all there is right now in terms of big names.

Just looking at the video made me want to punch my computer. I looks sickening and the person playing it looked like they had trouble completing it.

This isn't 1993. It's 2010. The whole Mario vs. Sonic thing ended when the Dreamcast ended (Despite games like Brawl and the Olympics where they went against each other). Sonic couldn't dethrone Mario in the '90s (especially during the 32/64-bit era) so what makes you think that NOW it's going to happen.

You Sonic fans puzzle me. After all these years, wouldn't it occur to you guys that he is a dying franchise and will never be ressurected. But I guess ignorance really is bliss. While us "blind fanboys" enjoy the awesomeness that is Mario Galaxy 2 you and the rest of the Sonic fans will be still caught in the washer machine of despair (a.k.a the Sonic Cycle).

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 looks to be a guaranteed AAA comeback title we've all been waiting for. From all the released videos and details so far, Sonic 4 looks to be absolutely amazing. Before you haters bring up the Sonic Cycle BS like sonic adventure 2, sonic heroes, shadow the hedgehog, sonic and the secret rings, Sonic the Hedgehog reboot, sonic unleashed, sonic and the black knight, etc., READ ALL THE AMAZING PREVIEWS and watch all the awesome footages first. If you do all of that, you will all believe and be hyped as much as I am (otherwise you're a blind fanboy). The reign of Mario is over, Sonic has finally come back to take his rightful place.

Well Chip in Unleashed could count as a "new friend" though he isn't playable unless you count Gaia Collosus. Tails and Amy were also there but really, the game was all Sonic granted he transformed at night. As for the picture, you need to be a little specific. The one were Sonic is screaming is from the Sonic Unleashed opening and the picture of Sonic holding Caliburn is from Sonic and the Black Knight.sonicthemegaman
