Sony producers promise a major software upgrades for the PlayStation 4 in 2017. President of Sony's Worldwide Studios for Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc., Shuhei Yoshida, wants the year 2017 to be a revolution in the Sony gaming console, and claiming it as the Year of PS4 Software.
The Playstation 4 gaming system has definitely provided a better experience for the recent versions and updates. The Sony exec now tells game enthusiasts that there is a need to match the smashing capabilities of the Playstation 4 console with spectacular games and apps dealt with the Playstation software. In the traditional year end mass interview of 4Gamer, the executives at Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio revealed that they have been working endlessly to give video gamers surprises in 2017, Dual Shockers reported.
There are still no details provided by the Sony staff present in the event. Nonetheless, producer Teruyuki Toriyama stated that the tech giant is currently pitching some awesome concepts and ambitious titles for new games in Playstation 4. Toriyama also asked its fans to support Sony for the year ahead.
"Bloodborne" producer Masaaki Yamagiwa made it known that they are working behind the scenes right after the release of the action role-playing video game, "Bloodborne." Yamagiwa also said that he hopes that what they are working on right now will be seen by Sony's fans as soon as possible.
While Sony will definitely have a busy year in 2017, "Gravity Rush" director Keiichiro Toyama pitch in something to think about. Apparently, the upcoming "Gravity Rush 2" is in the works and after the action-adventure video game's launch, a new project is coming.
Yoshida then said that 2016 has been the year of upgrades for the PlayStation console. With the emergence of PS4 Slim, PlayStation VR and PlayStation 4 Pro, Yoshida said that his focus is to provide amazing software for gamers, according to We Got This Covered.
E3 is going to likely be very game focused. They've had plans for some of their bigger names to transition to new stuff as soon as possible. It starts to make sense that there was a sizable focus on known games and third party at PSX. You haven't even seen the final form.
Once they don't give us crappy movie games I am all for it.

Sony is surviving on hype so get ready for a barrage a pre-rendered CGI of vaporware. If anyone is in doubt have a look at Sony's promise for 2016:
How are you liking the Fable game for XBox One?
You are stretching and that makes you look sad.
Take a second look, then. Maybe it's clearer now. Hell, you'd never admit it, but you probably wish Quantum Break was delayed another year just so it would have been an actual worthwhile $59 game. So, there's that.

Firstly, what the hell are you talking about? Second, a year would not have helped Quantum Break. The state of the game was not because they ran out of time but the design of the game was weak. How Quantum Break got into this discussion. No idea. But its typical for people like yourself bring the Xbox One into everything PS4 or Pro related. Also thank your for proving my point about you being sad.
I just want to see PSN get an injection shot with adrenaline by Sony developing some games with multiplayer/co-op in the likes of previous series: Resistance, Motorstorm, Socom/MAG, Twisted Metal.....
Most of the titles currently dont interest me as they arent in my genre/liking. Going against what i said, i am interested in Days Gone and the new God of War, they seem pretty gritty and i like that.
@dynamitecop: I think that would be the case. The only sure things from that video should be the stuff that sony makes. The rest is typical confusing sony pr. What happened to Nier for example the game was recently confirmed for pc and possible xone. They put a ps4 exclusive label on it.
@dynamitecop: That would be nice, but Sony has publishing rights to Nioh, so it is most likely an error. Also it has not been announced, so there's not much to base that on either.

Yeah I saw that as well, I think they intentionally do this confusing stuff until things are completely solidified one way or the other.

That's not exactly how publishing works, Sony has publishing rights overseeing the PlayStation 4 outside of Japan, Koei Tecmo is self-publishing within Japan. If this game comes to PC Sony has nothing to do with however or whoever that version of the game would be published by.

This isn't their IP, it's not their game.
Except it is how publishing works in the US. Nioh is not going to be published by another company in the US. Maybe Koei will make a JPN PC version. Would you import that instead of buying it in the west?
It's the whole reason why FROM Software had to make another series to continue making games in the Souls series after Demon's Souls.

Say the game came to Steam for example, it would be published by Koei Tecmo Games Co and would have absolutely nothing to do with Sony, Sony has publishing control over the PlayStation 4 version of the game outside of Japan, that's it. Just as Microsoft had publishing rights for Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One, Square Enix self published on PC.

There's nothing binding this game to Sony.
Like I said, Nioh will not be published by any other company in the US. It could be released on PC in JPN or under a new title with new content, "Nioh: *insert something here*" Tomb Raider on PS4 and PC even had a subtitle and technically had to be a "new" game.
Similar to Ninja Gaiden Sigma vs Ninja Gaiden Black.
I don't understand how this is such an issue. I will buy a Pro just for this game, and I have a PC.
Have fun waiting! I thought I could wait for the PC version of Vanquish (which is supposed to be in the works; what a letdown).

How are you liking Fable Legends, Whore of the Orient, Human Element, and Crackdown? Were they good?
What are they? Oh let me guess probably Xbox exclusives. Is that your best defense for Sony's outright lies and lack of diversity?
How can you look at games like horizon zero dawn, yakuza 0, persona 5, edf 5, world of final fantasy, the last guardian, nioh, nier automata, ni no kuni 2, grand turismo sport, dreams, wild, etc etc and not see a fucking flood of diversity?
Seriously, what world are you from where the ps4 doesn't have diversity? IT's the xbox that doesn't have diversity.

Nier AUtomata was always a console exclusive, it's not coming to xbox one.
I was waiting for someone to post a thread about this. Fromsoft has another PS4 exclusive coming.

If it wasn't for the shitty VR, 2015 and 2016 would've been already about games. Thanks for wasting everyone's time, Sony
Did you read about it? It has something that would interest you very much.
If you're referring to a possible FROM exclusive, i saw it being mentioned in an article couple of days ago, yeah.
FROM is scared of Nioh.
well, that's their direct competition and Nioh offers much more content/replayability. They better be scared cuz that shiz is coming in hot. I'm very interested to see FROM's sci fi game they're building, tho. It could be real interesting.

No, it was PlayStation 4 exclusive then it was announced for PC as well, and more recently an Xbox One version has not been ruled out and is under consideration.

Square Enix said it was a ps4 exclusive yet sony said it was a console exclusive from the start, it was weird but square enix were the only ones trying to sell it off as a true exclusive.

No, it doesn't matter what you said, the only people who tried to sell it as a ps4 true exclusive is square enix and it's not coming to xbox one, it's time for you to do some more research.
