Sony Fans around the net are furious at MS success

So because one PS3 fanboy site says something that means all Sony fans are mad at MS? I don't care how much money MS makes lol, I think that Xbox Fanboys are furious at Playstation ownersfor having games to play. What else could explain all these "Sony is doomed" threads?

You know what TC, more power to MS. Sony have all these exclusives and they are having trouble selling their consoles, yet MS doesn't have this problem. Know why? Its because at this stage of the game, there are no system sellers, there are enough games on every console you couldn't go wrong with a blindfold on.

MS advertised what made them different, talking up Kinect more than anything. Then they advertise the same old multiplats that release every year because that is what people want. Can't say I'm complaining, but Sony are so unbelievably far behind in their understanding of the market its just sad. If 2007 had the number of exclusives this year had they would be in a high second place. Now, the PS3 needs something that no one else has, and it needs it advertised.

But i have not played a single PS3 game since Demons SOuls and more than 50 on xbox 360

And with Dark Souls around, i would not even care if i did not own a PS3

If 360 fans say their multiplats run better on their system than ps3, then I can do one better. Multiplats run better on the PC than both of them put together:lol:psx_warrior

But PC has no true analog controls, so the gameplay is far worst

Plus 360 has both Dark Souls and Witcher 2, PC only one of them

I feel that the best consoles with the most quality software sold the most past generations. That isn't happening this time, so I feel the exact same way.

Microsoft fans should be furious for only working on Kinnect as their prime.

Ms' success lol. The total of xbox and x360 sales isn't even pass 100 million units sold. And right now the 360 has crap hardware and ms barely wants to provide exclusives. But wait they have a few multiplats that run better on the 360(which by the is on the devs to make sure the game runs properly). Nothing to be jealous are furious at ms.

What they dont get is that one good exlusive like Gears 3 or Bastion is better than 100 filler mediocre exlusives to make the lineup seem bigger

Also 360 gets the best Skyrim, Dark Souls, Crysis 1-2, so who would get a PS3 for those games ?

I honestly don't know why they care so much. The PS3 is a strong console with lots of support and great games, and this isn't going to change. The PS3 is a great console on its own merits, with a lot to offer. They should only be disappointed if the PS3 is WAY behind the 360 with a small install base and doesn't get any support at all. It's not like it's the Jaguar. How does the PS3 being "1st place" in sales make their gaming better? Just don't think about it - it's irrelevant. Both consoles are now considered "old" with each having a strong amount of market share.

If they want to rationalize it, then price has a lot to do with it - 360 has always been the cheaper alternative to the PS3, and that has helped Microsoft's numbers.

Its because in the real world, exclusives dont matter as much as they used to. Why? Because last gen, the multiplats of this gen were exclusive last gen (GTA, DMC, Final Fantasy, etc). Not so this gen. The biggest titles are multiplatform, which is why we see Sony and MS fighting over exclusive content and early/timed DLC. Fanboys always ignore this reality. The biggest and most popular titles are multiplat because of how high dev costs are, and used game sales, etc. Killzone will never be COD. Infamous will never be Assassins Creed. Gears will never be Ghost Recon, etc. Multiplats are dominant this gen, ESPECIALLY since we have very little or no platforms or creative "must have" exclusives.navyguy21

Own both. Have always been a PS3 booster though.

Here's how it is: XBOX wins. PS3 started out as great hardware to xbox's rrod, but things have changed. And now XBOX is selling more units, kinnect is a success, has a better multiplayer experience and when it comes to multiplat 90% of the time they are superior on the box.

As a former PS3 fanboy, I have accepted XBOX superiority to the point of upgrading my older xbox to one of the newer quieter ones. Xbox wins.

I like this post. Well talked out/articulated, can admit some of the faults of his Fav company when it comes to the CURRENT gaming market. Still is not giving up on his fav system though. Is this to much to ask for around here???

I don't care what anybody else thinks because what they think has no influence on my gaming experience. With that said. The PS3 was the only option for me this gen. The Wii only has 5 games that spark my interest and the 360 only has 3. That isn't good enough to warrant a purchase of either system.AmazonTreeBoa

What we are both seeing (and you need to open your eyes) are Ps3 fans who are furious that they are being outsold who are resorting to listing their "exclusives" and Lems saying that exclusives are not as important as they once were. Plus why would i not brag for Witcher 2 ? It is one of the best games ever and 360 gets it, while PS3 does not

Who cares if it is also on PC, the point is that 360 gets it

I'm looking forward to the promising 4-5 Sony producedgames* coming out in 2012 rather than the......1 produced MS game* coming out in 2012 along with the money they're making but perhaps it's just me.
