Sony gets marketing rights, xbox one gets the demo first, PC gets the best version etc. God, what a clusterfuck gaming has become.

Umm who the **** cares? Four planets to fight on out of all the star wars universe is pathetic. This game shouldn't be hyped by anyone especially after bf4. If your pumped for this game, your part of the over all problem with making the industry thinking less for more is acceptable.

The PS4 sold double the amount of units the XBO did when Destiny came out,you want to know what make it even better that MS was giving Destiny away with new xbox one,while Sony was charging $460 for the destiny bundle..

So yeah, 13k is a lot... Top 10 ends with 4388 retweets, thus we can conclude that Halo tweet has been retweeted minimum 3 times more than any other PlayStation exclusive.

@tormentos: You understand views on YouTube and retweets/favorites are 2 different things and are not comparable....I'm on twitter and follow all the game companies and you very rarely see that many retweets or favorites for anything let alone a game. Point is the game trended with that trailer and announcement just like Star Wars was trending after it's trailer. Halo 5 will sell like hotcakes and if you think any different then you are in a sad denial state.

With that said I feel MS should have secured the marketing for this game and advertised along with the EA Access advantage....so I think they missed out on an opportunity.

( p.s. Halo 5 trailers have more views than the Star Wars Battlefront trailer, if you want to compare the same thing. )

GTA is a bigger franchise than Halo though. All those re tweets mean is that there are alot of fans following Halo 5 development on the Xbox side. If GTA 5 got less retweets, it sure doesn't affect sales.

Why would I choke on my own hypocrisy? I never defended the practice. Paying tons of money for the ability to act like some game is exclusive to your console, when it isn't. Or for an extra mission or costume is a waste of money that could be better used on making new games. And we all know both MS and Sony need some new games.

Anyway, that was my point.. Cows whined all last gen when MS was doing the exact same thing. How unfair it was, how wrong it was. How desperate MS must be. Now that Sony is doing the exact same thing, now it's a great marketing move. That's hypocrisy, and my point exactly.

On a side note...man I really hate the new GS quoting system. It really sucks trying to single out a single quote from people that have to quote multiple people with multiple subjects.

I think EA is miffed over the Joe Montana Football game. This marketing deal was likely low-hanging fruit for Sony as was getting TF2.

Anyway it's interesting, Halo 5 might not be the biggest blockbuster of November, it's going to be a real test of the Halo brand given it's arguably at it's shakiest after Halo 4 and the MCC shit show plus the Xbox's shoddy sales.

Actually they had more of those last year, including the ones for CoD AW, FIFA 15 and Assassin's Creed Unity - can you ask for 3 biggers franchises? Then they had one for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

But somehow suddenly it's the PS4 that only matters.
