I'm not sold on VR yet, but hopefully this does well so I can give it try when it matures.
I see the same Xbox fanboys doing their dance. So predictable.

The dance is that no one is actually sold on Vr yet. And they dont understand how a cheaper Vr headset with no games some how beats the two more expensive and likely better ones. The sony fanboy hype is just a bit much. It just doesnt make sense.
@drrollinstein: PSVR is going to have over 50 games by the end of this year. It is going sell more than Vive and Rift combined because it has consumer friendly price. It's not better headset than those two, but it surely appears to a be better value.
There are plenty on the shelves at my local Best Buy and target, sitting there getting dusty. Reason? It's a flop.
Flop review from Gamespot:
As a VR fan, I want PSVR to succeed, but it trips up too many times to wholeheartedly recommend at this point. Many of the launch titles will make a large percentage of people sick, and it may lead to the false impression that VR has to make you nauseated. If you have a PS4 and are dying to get PSVR, then I’d recommend the $499.99 bundle which includes the PlayStation Camera, two Move controllers, and PlayStation VR Worlds. If you have a PS4 and are simply curious about VR, I’d hold out until more titles are released. While there are a handful of fun titles, there’s nothing that I’ve played at launch so far to indicate to me that the PSVR is a must-buy right now. For everyone else, I’d recommend saving up for a better reality.
Ouch, dat der flop sting. Hey @SecretPolice, we have a cow crisis on our hands. What ever should we do to help?
Lol...
Nuff said. :P

I cant say whether itll fail or be fantastic by the end of the year or not. The point is that at the moment it really isnt worth buying unless you have an excess of money. But sony fanboys like to hype it up as if its the second coming of the super nintendo. It really just isnt impressive right now.
@drrollinstein: So Sony fanboys are hyping it and Microsoft fanboys are trashing it. What's new about that when it comes to console wars and anything exclusive?
I really hope it does well. I really enjoy VR, but it is obvious that it barely scratched on the surface of its huge potential. If VR does well enough, we might get lighter headsets with higher res and developer start to get deeper into what's possible in VR. Allumette gave us a small taste of what the movies of the future could look like, I can't wait to see the progress devs make in VR. So yes, i really want Sony or anyone to do well, I want the tech to get better and better and I want to see where the media on it is going
@FastRobby: All things considered, didn't the PS4 launch with something like 3m sales worldwide by the end of December '13?
By the end of 2013 they were at 4.2 million sold through (source). I'm looking forward to getting numbers from Sony about VR, because that tells us more than just saying something is in high demand. Microsoft does that all the time, and then when we see their figures we wonder if they were actually surprised by the demand, or if it was just tactics.

Roger that, sir.
@stereointegrity: Let's see if your butt still hurts a year later...
what exactly is there to be butthurt over? sony is notorious for not supporting things down the road.

That's a fear I have as well, Sony really does a horrible job supporting their own peripherals. The Ps4 camera is the best example for that

Yeah. I was also a huge Eye of Judgement fan, it's a shame how fast they supported that card game as well :S The Ps2 adapter to go online also had barely any support. They didn't even support the Vita which is a fantastic handheld -.-'

Stupid, Sony could've used those RESOURCES to releease 50 more PS4 games/exclusives.
VR is idiotic and split development for SONY.
Cows just suckle whatever SONY throws at them it's sad, you guys should've protested this shit.
That literally proves they were lying given it was "sold out" and now it's just mysteriously in stock everywhere...
You just made my point for me, thank you for that.
Wouldn't it be illegal to say it's sold out when it hadn't. Would that be misleading Sonys shareholder?
