Sony leads with 13 of 20 titles on 'Most Wanted' games list by Japanese players

Results of Japan's Famaitsu magazine recent 'Most Wanted Games' list by it's readers. Sony leads as a company leads M$ and Nintendo while the PS3 leads all systems in number of titles on the list:

The point is that the Japense players are choosing the PS3 versions of these games.  

Japan gamers aren't looking forward to the X360 versions of RE5 and DMC3, that's why Famitsu has them listed for the PS3.larshaun

Like said they will sell but not the way one would think. MGS for example tends to do better outside of Japan. Devil May Cry according to VGcharts sold around 1.6 mil in Japan and that is with all three games totaled. MGS also didn't go over a million on either version in Japan as well. The last GT was just over 1 million itself and that was a dropped in sales compared to GT 3. Now remember these numbers are from VGcharts so they might be wrong or they might right but it's the costest thing I could find. According to the site as well no GTA game ever went over half a million, close but not over. It's really in America and other countries(totaled) were the sales came from.

Final Fantasy is really the only huge seller out of the ones you listed.
