The man behind Sony's PlayStation Move controller has claimed that the peripheral feels better for RTS games than the humble mouse and keyboard.Zune_HD
I got to here and was done listening. What is one of the major problems consoles have had with RTS games? Not enough buttons. Yes you can select units and such faster, but you still lack the amount of buttons that you need for such a complicated game. Maybe if he was talking about an FPS I might be inclined to listen, but this is just laughable at best.

He does actually have a point, if more RTS games were designed around move, the PS3 could be home to many decent RTS games. The only keys I use on most of my RTS games are the arrow keys to move the map, and the move controller would have that on the other stick. If they can make the controller precise enough, this would be pretty sweet.

Imagine trying to manage teh zerg in sc2 with move, uber slow and fail

keyboard and mouse are extreamly over rated by hermits. any game that needs 100s of buttons is poor design . move is a better pointer and you can hold it in your hands and now lay it down on a table .

once again il will say imagine trying to control multiple hatcheries as the zerg in sc2 without hot keys (that makes me sound uber noob but think about it for a sec and it becomes clear)

Try beat some pro Starcraft gamers with move and if anyone ever do this ill crash my PC in an instant....

Too much blablabla to hype a product.Plus to say its best than K+M in genres that actually get hugebenefits from that combo? ...

True , but lets say you got a FERRARI that goes with 300miles per hour and a kart that goes with 50... Even if you SCREAM out there to hype your new KART that goes with 100..... The difference 300 to 100 is still huge.,... So in the end dont talk at all... You can talk instead how better MOVE might be vs PADs... I could understand that but VS K+M?... Its near to say ridiculous just by comparing it. That my thoughts at least and yeah bad example though thats the best i could find lol :)
