Every SONY System and its exclusives Success after Success (PS,PS 2,PSP,PS 3).

PS 4 this gen also delivering on Updated Consoles (PRO) and Awesome Exclusives (Bloodborne,R&C,Uncharted 4, Infamous Second Son,The Last Guardian,Upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn, Gran Turismo, Yakuza 6, Persona 5, Nioh, Nier Automata, The Last of US 2, God of War, Various Awesome Multiplats).

IMO... SONY never fails to Deliver. But yeah, it's Gaming Systems starts really slow on Launch.

Ace Combat 7

They've been largely meh this gen outside of Bloodborne and The Last Guardian. Their future lineup looks promising so we'll have to see. The next few months look pretty amazing, mainly due to NieR Automata and Nioh.

The countless exclusives on PS is astounding for a story gamer.

Xbox and PC are not bad either but there is just something about playing a big screen sitting on the couch compared to a pc.

They deliver more than the main competition, but there are some not so good moments.

Strongly Disagree. And I think most Sony reviews on GameSpot are pretty inflated. Franchises like Uncharted, The Last of Us, Bloodborne deserve the mighty hammer of 7s that was dropped on Gears this year. Hell the Last of Us doesn't even deserve that, bring out the die and roll.

Like all three, they bring out games I am interested in and games I am not interested in.

Generally speaking, I think people are often satisfied with their output so... hooray! :D

For me, I'm mostly a game-play guy and prefer solid game-play or interactivity over a story driven experience. I do like the odd story driven game now and then too though.

Sony has done really well this gen, I'll give them that but more work is still needed to be done and this gen is still young but aging faster.

They have destroyed the competition and sit comfortably at the top and still keeps delivering games. I'm happy that they are putting MS out of their misery since Sony needs better competitors that challenge them in the games front and not only with shady business tactics like MS usually does. So thanks Sony and TLHBO.

Sony has been very underwhelming so far this gen. But their future looks promising. I've enjoyed my X1 a lot more so far. And it's future also looks promising. Both consoles getting great games next year. But still that doesn't excuse the abysmal 2013-2016 for PS4.

The PS4 exclusives look appealing but I don't have a PS4 yet. I am waiting for a few more games to be released first.

@jumpaction: Forza Horizon 3 has been one of the best games this gen for me. That plus gears 4 I've really enjoyed my X1 lately. I hope you enjoy your PS4 if you get it.

Nah man the move and Vita tell me otherwise. While them being good items, Sony dropped the ball, bailed on them. Hopefully they're better this time around.

That's how I am at the moment as well, I remember playing Bloodborne, God of War, & Infamous 2 back when I had a Playstation 4, but that was about it. I'm waiting on Horizon & Days Gone and I'll probably see if I pick up a Pro, or I might wait and see how E3 is and pick up a Switch instead...

I was thinking of picking up Forza Horizon 3 in hopes it would get me in the mood to start earning my driver's license but I have built up such a backlog of games that I never had time to pick it up when it came out. Generally, I am not into racing simulators... or cars, really. :(

The Gears of War series is something I never played. I had a quick go of the first game on 360 but I wasn't really interested. Maybe I would like it if I tried again...

Sea of Thieves and Scalebound are on my watchlist for next year.

They definitely fail to deliver sometimes. No company is perfect, and I'd say Sony is pretty hit-or-miss. But, they are affiliated with or own enough good studios that despite the duds you can expect a decent number of hits as well. And that's all one really needs, assuming you aren't a pre-order hungry person who is prone to getting shafted by pre-release trailer hype

I will buy a Switch when it comes out. I generally like Nintendo's games. I do hope it follows the 3DS rather than the Wii U.

I'm always with Sony because they offert a wide variety of games I prefer unlike the competition.

It's a bold face lie because not everyone delivers. I remember MAG, Lair, Knack, The Order, Drive club among others.

Nobody is 100%. And like Conan said in my TLG hype thread yall abandoned that game until some inklings on the internet that it would be good. I've been hoping for it for 7 years. Bunch fair weather babies you cows are.

Man i forgot all about Ni No Kuni 2 lol. Missed Original. Know it got rave reviews.

disagree, they failed to support a lot of hardware like the Vita, Move or EyeToy. Their games are usually hit or miss and many that are hit, are totally overrated. Without great 3rd party exclusives, my PS4 wouldn't be played that much...

All of Sony's consoles are great. However, they usually fail to deliver in the first party department. At least with my tastes.

Thats fair. Thats how I usually feel about Microsoft. However I was pleased this gen with them taking risks on games that are unique and unlike anything theyve been part of in the past (Sunset Overdrive, Ori, Recore, Sea of Thieves)

Second issue I had was the way you obtained familiars. Like Pokemon, you can collect what are called familiars but you can only catch them if they like you after a battle and that is determined randomly... which wasnt a good decision to me.

Couple of other things. Overstuffed with mechanics. The game could have been simplified BUT it's a very charming and memorable game and I thought the battle system was engaging... not perfect but fun. :)

Playstation always delivers with thejr home consoles. They have arguably the most diverse, most new IPs, and most unique games or franchises. That is something Microsoft seriously struggles with. Unless you really love playing only Halo and Gears (which are on life support) and Forza, Xboxs three only notable franchises other than dead rising i guess, Sony always drops tons of new games and IPs every generation and 2017 doesnt look to change the trend

At least i can get Uncharted 4, Ratchet and clank, Until Dawn, God of War, Last of Us 2, Gran Turismo Sport, Laat Guardian, Days Gone, Detroit Beyond Human, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spiderman, Ni No Kuni 2, Crash Remastered, Wipeout remastered, and more ALL EXCLUSIVE. Disagree hard. the PS3 hardware wans't very good and overpriced. The PS4 while great hardware, has been nothing but a delayed games machine and the pro and VR are both very underwhelming. the PS2 was poor hardware compared to the xbox, the PS1 was beat out by the NS64.

It seems sony can never get games and hardware correctly. PS1, PS2, and somehwta PS3 did great on games but lacked hardware. The PS4 did great on hardware but lacked games. Now with the Pro the PS4 hardware is no longer good and the pro is underwhelming. VR is failing and not done very well by sony. The Vita is a running joke. The move died a long time ago.

What about the people who have no desire to game on PC for whatever reason? Can't judge or change someones opinion on how they feel with PC gaming right? So at that point, for however many people that may be, looking at the 3 consoles on the market, the person would ask themselves which one offers them what they're looking for in a console? As well as the games being offered for each console? Right?

I have a few friends of mine who I game with on PC, but the majority of my friends rather keep it simple and game on a console, I've tried persuading them to game on PC, but again, they don't want to deal with PC gaming for whatever reason they have...

Strongly agree. They have some rough areas to work on but compared to the other console manufacturers they are delivering big time.
