Was Playstation VR really a down point? I thought I read somewhere that it was selling out and doing very well.

I don't agree wholeheartedly . They've had success, yes, but they've also had some royal screw ups as well. Driveclub is one game that comes to mind. PS3 was too expensive and difficult to develop for. The great PSN hack that took Sony down for more than a month.

Bundles sold well, but Sony was idiotic and never restocked them.
now they sell the move/camera/VR by themselves and people are not buying them, and the lack of games hurt.
that and most parents want whatever is cheap for their kids
Can only agree.
The countless exclusives on PS is astounding for a story gamer.
Xbox and PC are not bad either but there is just something about playing a big screen sitting on the couch compared to a pc.
Exactly! Because clearly you can't sit on the coach and play on a big screen on PC.
Sure you can play on the tv and have one of the pc stream devices connected to your pc.
But why would you? also a monitor is usually better than a tv even a 4k.
You can plug your PC into your TV via HDMI and use any controller you want for playing your games on the coach. I'm using a big monitor both for my PC and my PS4 Pro, the same goes for the DualShock 4.
Your last two sentences make no sense however. "Why would you?" Well, you just made this point against PC, so somehow sitting on coach while playing games on a big screen must be important to you, so that's probably why you would do that. I mean...I dunno, this was YOUR point, so you should know why you'd want to do that.
"monitors are usually better than TV's". Well you have no problem playing your console games on a TV, so it won't be a problem if you'd play PC games on the same TV then.
