SONY never fails to Deliver, Whole Heartledly Agree or Strongly Disagree?

Every PS console has delivered at least 1 exclusive 10/10 coupled with multiple AAAE games ranging from various genres so anyone who answered "no" to this thread is an idiot or a blind and extremely bitter anti-gamer fanboy.

The answer is flat out yes and that is the reason why PS is the go to console for gamers around the world.

No matter how long it takes them to get going (It it does take them some time) Sony always manages to deliver world class AAA exclusive games that set standards for the industry, sweep GOTY awards and push for developer creativity that allows for exciting new IPs ranging across multiple genre and this has been the case EVERY generation sony has produced consoles and the current gen has been no exception.

If they didn't fail to deliver my PS4 would still be hooked up instead of in the box tucked away in my closet. TBH though... I'm happy. I'd rather play multi-platform games on PC. The fact that it's in my closet just means there are less and less exclusives in the gaming world, which I like. It is consumer friendly.

LOL and your poor trolling. PS literally has ZERO exclusives, like not joking ZERO. They are all on PC, PS4, Vita and PS Pro and I own one that destroys Scorpio and much more so, destroys my PS Pro. At least i can get Uncharted 4, Ratchet and clank, Until Dawn, God of War, Last of Us 2, Gran Turismo Sport, Laat Guardian, Days Gone, Detroit Beyond Human, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spiderman, Ni No Kuni 2, Crash Remastered, Wipeout remastered, and more AS MULTIPLATFORM. Enjoy PlayStation 4's whopping three rehash franchises lol except better on PS Pro.

The only thing MS had an advantage over Sony with last gen was market saturation sales...and that is only because MS had a 1 year head start on the market without any competition! That's nothing to brag about especially considering that 1 year handicap that MS had ended up with them tied with Sony by the end of the gen and Nintendo completely dominating them.

First half of PS3's life cycle it most certainly did not deliver, even though it picked up momentum after that shaky start. And PS Vita tanked. So there goes that "theory".

They're a good gaming company, no mistake about it. But this whole "Sony can do no wrong" mentality is blind devotion at its worst.

@casharmy: I own a PS4 and PC. Actually played the first Last of Us. My Xbox gaming was only last generation. You took and and tried to nitpick pick at it because you've always been a vocal sony hater (don't care about owning systems thats not an excuse for preference/bias) so that isn't an excuse to bail you out of a trash posts so if you're going to post like that then don't be offended if someone calls you out on it.

When you only highlight the successes, yes to someone like you, Sony never fails to deliver. But when you go back to reality and also see their failures, you realize that PlayStations aren't any better than any other consoles. If Sony really had success after success in every generation, the Xbox brand would not be a household product and the DS would have been a memory of a past. That is not the case. Sony's failures are the reason the Xbox and Nintendo brand are here to stay.

Sony are finally delivering with the PS4 but it was a long time coming. The exclusives line-up is now looking very promising and the PS4 now starts to make sense as a companion game system to my PC. Unlike the Xbox One which never delivered outside of Halo MCC and now never, ever will since MS have decided to opt out of the console space with a budget PC with no exclusives (Scorpio).

So yeah, PS4 it's been a rocky ride but they're finally getting there. The only thing that worries me is they no longer have any real competition.

So, did the Vita suddenly not exist or something? Because you said "Every" Sony system, and yet you happened to forget the Vita.

Or is it because as much as you and other Sony fans love to gloat about being better then everyone else, the fact of the matter is that the Vita was slaughtered like a pig and was abandoned by Sony as it rotted away.

Yeah, props to the PS4 and all that jazz. But the fact of the matter is, the Vita was destroyed by the 3DS in terms of exclusives and sales this generation. Its not even close at this point.

But I'm sure you forget to mention the Vita and it was an oversight that you ignored. Or maybe it is the fact that despite the PS4's success, the Vita was the little forgotten system that died a worse death then the Wii U.

And was proof that even Sony can't compete with Nintendo when it comes to handhelds. Forget trying to compete with mobile devices, the Vita was not even in the 3DS' league.

I owned a Vita and I can tell you they failed to deliver. It was one of the worst handheld I ever owned.

I can't say I strongly agree, but Sony sure has been stomping the competition with the PS1, PS2 and the PS4. The 360 IMO had an edge over the PS3 though, well, whenever it wasn't suffering from the RROD of course.

Sony delivering? Still waiting for that Greatness. Only got two PS4 games this entire year- Disgaea 5 and R&C.

When TLOU flopped here, the media was teh bad, untrustworthy. Remember ALBW won GOTY that year and cows went APE shit here. So why is it legit when you or Ninty win for this argument but not legit other times when Sony loses?

Strongly agree. The Sony systems always deliver in terms of exclusives.

Sure you can play on the tv and have one of the pc stream devices connected to your pc.

But why would you? also a monitor is usually better than a tv even a 4k.

Sony is far from perfect but these are undeniable about Sony:

• aggressive first party investment
• aggressive third party courtship
• willing to be loss-leader on hardware (even the 599 us dollars for ps3 was a great deal)
• responsive to trends with new hardware

My issue with Sony though, is that although being great on paper, they miss that x-factor. I think it's that they listen to focus groups a lot. Like most industries, consumers will tell you what they want, but deep down they don't really know what they want. This goes double for an artistic industry like gaming. Sony lacks true imagination, and that extends to their software. Again, I have to hand it to them that their effort is remarkable. Their products, software and hardware, will be satisfying in every way you could measure.

It's a big yes!!! Won't even bother arguing ;)

@kinky-unikorn: Whether people choose to only game on console or also play PC, the simple fact is PC is superior in every way except for a few console exclusives u cant get on it. It just is regardless of what people think about it just like the earth is round even if u believe it if flat. Pretty much every reason against PC gaming can be countered logically. I can build a PC to match console power at the same price or cheaper in the long run, i can have a PC destroy any console on the market for a little more and its a computer still not a closed console so i can do a 100 more things, million more games, more gamers overall, more customization and freedom, better upgrading when u want, million more mods, use any controller, play on couch or with TV, play any game from any console or backwards compatability from the 80s, free and superior online, easy to build, the list just goes on and on. Just google reddits page on why PC gaming is the best, it cant be disputed and ive been console gaming my entire life. Most reasons against it are either laziness, misinformed, illogical, or simply incorrect. But hey do whatever u want, im not gonna be suckered again

Bro...lol. I think you need to read what I originally commented? No offense man, I agree with you 100%. PC gaming is superior in a majority of ways, I have been gaming on PC since Warcraft III days, and I still game on on PC, and I started off console gaming, from NES to Super Nintendo, Playstation, etc.

What I'm talking about is the other people who are not like us, who don't think like us in the same mentality, the numerous amounts of people who don't spend it on the forums or read up on tech stuff; casuals. I'm talking about them. It's convenient for them to just buy a console, plug it in, and play. Like I said, I have lots of friends who keep it simple and just play on consoles. To them, they see console exclusives...
