I've never heard of Apple claiming it was the market leader when it wasn't, telling customers to take out a second job to afford its products, claiming Rumble was a last-gen feature or making fun of the world's largest third party publisher when it threatened to pull support for the PS3, but I might be living in a strange alternate history where Germany won the war and humans evolved from dinosaurs.

Not that Apple isn't arrogant, far from it. But acting the prick isn't suddenly alright just because you found somebody who's worse.

at first that sounds unlikely, but GT is popular everywhere, as opposed to Halo, which is not popular in Japan

Actually, at the end of the day his job is to help Sony MAKE MONEY. Still, having a greater abundance of good first party titles helps to build goodwill and could make more loyal Sony customers in the future.

I'm so glad to see the Black Font idea I've used at the GS forums for years has caught on by so many users just recently. I can deny it and I will. I'll give them the multiplayer, that's pretty goddamn hard to top, but to be honest, if you are making the same game for nearly 10 years, it better be good. But the main campaign is slightly above average. It's just popular.

There was nothing actually factual wrong with the things Greenberg said. The problem is that if any random Sony employee would make a sales comparison between the Gran Turismo and Forza games you would have the entire board filled with people calling Sony arrogant.

It was a pretty professional response considering what you usually hear. Sony could have always said something like "....well the GT franchise outsells the Halo franchise" or something dumb.

The point however is very clear. MS knows that Halo means sales, and Playstation are crapping money out even though they are making great games. The PS3 has been nothing but a huge moneysink for Sony, and as a shareholder, I'd be asking some hard questions on how they plan to turn their fortunes around. Games like Last Guardian won't do it. They need more God of War and Ratchet and Clank.Sagacious_Tien

I don't really get the reasoning behind judging a console based on it's immediate predecessor.
