Nobody knows if 3D will matter no handhelds yet, the 3DS hasn't even been released or properly demoed at all.Plus, it depends on the software first of all.

I would wait and see. Its going to sell just because its a Nintendo handheld, but there gonna have to do more user research on who actually cares about 3D when playing a game.

hes saying that rumble in a controller is about as pointless as a mouse with force feedback, i disagree with that statement but i see what he is saying

Well keep in mind that your eyes are a lot closer to the screen when playing a handheld compared to playing a home console with a TV, so the distance in screen lengths would not be all that different.

if you go to any hdtv review site you will see 3d is not that great on a bravia either. samsung is currently ripping sony a new one so sony should prolly keep quiet on other peoples 3d and worry about how they are getting their ass handed to them in every review site that is currently doing head to head comparasons.

I can remember when the lemmings griped and complained about some of the stuff that comes out of sony's PR mouths. The 3DS has better graphics, has a great battery life, dual analog is a dying format, and the 3D can be turned off at will. So yeah, what's the problem?

The whole reason for this is that 3D handhelds do not promote sales of exspensive 3D tvs...

This is what businesses do. It doesn't matter if it's true or even if Sony believes it. It's what they do.

ITT: Sony is butthurt about not getting a 3D handheld thus it does the next best thing. Criticizes the leading competitor in the market who is constantly outselling Sony this generation.

As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo can do no wrong when it comes to handhelds. Personally, I'm not a big fan of handhelds in general, but Nintendo knows what they're doing when it comes to that particular market. Honestly, Sony has no right to talk because they don't know jack **** about the handheld market. This is Sony in full-on damage control, and it just shows that Sony is even more ignorant and arrogant than we already thought they were.
