Even without 3D, the 3DS looks sweet...I think they're mostly rumors, but Gamecube graphics, installs and online is enough to catch my attention (and I've been on an "I hate Nintendo" phase the past couple years :P). If the DS can just pull off GC graphics, I may just get up and buy one :D.

They dissed the way wii did motion control and then pretty much copied and improved on the entire idea. 3D is great for handhelds and at least we won't need ugly glasses that dull the color by 50% in order to see 3D.

the 3DS isn't just about 3D though, it's a full blown next generation handheld device with improved hardware and even without the 3D effects it would be well worth the money (if it's under 299$) to get.

well you cant blame them- its a company competition. not many companies will admit that their rivals' new product is good without stating faults they made. especially when these two companies are the onyl ones making handhelds (ds and psp). so ofc theyre gonna complain if theres a good idea, but either way its still an amazing idea.

Sony seems to be the only one that puts said 'faults' into its consoles. :S MS & Nintendo seem to stick to the guns on why they don't want certain tech.

3DS was the best thing at E3, but your job is to make your company look better than the others.

Why would you need to install if the games are running of carts?

Some Japanese newspaper reported was there was going to be a feature where you could install the whole game on the 3DS, so that you wouldn't need the cart to play. However Miyamoto said in an interview that he hasn't heard of such a feature.

multiple games with no having to switch carts, it's a handy feature.
