And in all honesty if they do a massive price drop sometime around the holidays and annouce some good games at E3 it would have no problem at ll hitting 10 million. The PS3 sold over 3.5 million in that 3 month span and it was about 5 years old.

Yeah but they need games that appeal to the average Joe, a exclusive Monster Hunter might cut it in Japan but I doubt that would happen. If they showed Call Of Duty and Monster Hunter for the Vita then bam Japan and Western market in the bag, but come on Sony has never been the *smart player* in this industry.

With a major price drop and some real proper AAA titles sure. But, they can drop the price $100 bucks (and I will buy one) but there will never be any AAA games on this system.

It is getting more games, and a price cut probabyl isn't going to happen. These aren't plastic rectangles that you could get from a happy meal. They're actually really solidly constructed machines.
