Sony takes shots at Microsoft now.

Wow, you lems get a huge -1 after this thread. Before this thread, MS having a bunch of shooters was common knowledge that even lems understood. Now because someone from Sony says it (and he said it in a nice way too), it is now Sony being "ego maniacs" and "whining". If there is any doubt that lems will fabricate Sony at any means, then this would be the thread that I would refer to.

He's somewhat right, despite everyone getting up in arms.

The XBOX brand was built on Halo; and probably would have failed without it.

Halo 3 was the 360's killer app. Gears of War was an IP also designed to appeal to this market.

That doesn't mean the 360 "only has shooters", it has variety in its (exclusive) lineup, but that the product genre is in all likelihood the predominant driver for the customer base.

How do you know the launch failed? Are you talkind launch sfotware? You have no freakin idea if the launch failed, in fact I can find articles to prove you wrong. Its in the top 3 of Amazon.com and there are lineups for the thing.

but yeh its true, microsofts game library is pathetic, and lems need to stop counting game from 06 and 07 to counter what i just said becuase im pretty sure your not playing them atm

For the big sales yeah, they do rely on Shooters, but that's because that's what people demand.

If RPG's sold on this level MS would be making the Halo of RPG's, but alas, they don't.

On the other hand i wish MS would make some good exclusive games.

You forgot Heavenly Sword, God of War 3, Ratchet & Clank, Motorstorm, Wipeout HD, Yakuza, inFAMOUS...and a plethora of JRPG's the PS3 offers combined with the ones you listed.

Its different, and you know it.

Sony's 1st party is bigger than MS and Nintendo's.
