No they are not last they sold 80 million 2 and a half weeks after the xbox 360 did it,and the PS3 outsold the xbox 360 in 2013,In January the PS3 again beat the 360 even on US.,

How much do you think MS sold in 3 and half weeks.? 100k more in US which were counter by Japan and EU.?

The PS3 i am sure is over the xbox 360 already,just because sony doesn't say it doesn't mean it didn't happen last gen is irrelevant.

1.The PS3 outsold the xbox 360 in January 2014 so no is not all months.

2.The PS3 still beating the xbox 360 in Japan by a land slide,same with EU.

3.The PS3 still sell more units monthly than the xbox one thanks to Japan and EU.

4.You are wrong and US is not the only place where the xbox 360 and PS3 are sold nice DC.

sony won this gen...only question is lifetime sales.

ps3 sold half of the ps2 and i think the ps4 will sell in even less.

Yeah but let's be honest, titanfall was almost hyped as the second coming as christ.

Well I was focused on the Gimmicks,not the games or the controller.Just so you know,I used the XB1 controller to play KI and just like the PS4 controller not built for Fighters.I also played Titianfall enjoyed it but not a fan of it.

Well when you have EA and MS teaming up to promote a game that's bound to happen and xbox fans were excited for a new IP.....it's not like it was a bad game or anything though. It was quite enjoyable for a while but of course got old.

Microsoft is crying right now, the xbox department has lost the company a lot of respect, and they are up in arms about what to do about. LOL

If PS4 manage to get close to 20M consoles in its first year ( 15 to 17 will be fine ) considering the life cycle wont be the typical 5 years , same as last gen , with this appealing price it already got which will get further cuts along the way and will make it super appealing to "weak" countries around the globe with low-end economies ... wont have less than PS3 in total ...period.

Less than PS3 just because Japan is under console crisis ? Thats why you think so ? We will see that. We will see soon enough. Already 10+ in 9 months with no big hits out while there is some "serious" competition out there. Personally i think when PS4 get some price cuts , serious ones after 2-3 years ...lets say 299 or slightly lower ..sales will go crazy. But thats me i guess :)

Not surprising at all. I'm happy to see the Wii U is at least selling higher than last gen systems. I'd like it to succeed on some level.

How can it get 15 million in the first year when it's only 10 million after nine months? It should hit 12 million comfortably unless the demand dries up. Japan is not helping obviously, but Europe must be going steady.

3-4 million moved during Nov-Dec easily.

Because some crazy titles coming and its beyond 10million as we speak with only 2-3 games worth mention out.

The PS4 will sell 15-18million per year most likely. It may pull a Wii later in the gen.It will sell above 90 million, but I think 100 million is impossible for now since sony has to figure out a way to broaden the ps4's appeal

I told you before , they already figured it out with PS4s price. That was the main issue with PS3. Small markets with low-end economies which in fact there are so many of them in regions like Europe / Asia , will definitly found appealing a PS4 in 2-3-4 years from now at 200$ +/- price. Also if we take into consideration 3 factors :

1) PS4 selling 15-18million consoles ( with your logic ) with not any blockbuster title out yet . Its up to 10+ as we speak with Infamous only worth mention and that isnt considered as a big gun.

2) 100M might sound impossible for now BUT considering last gen ended after 8 to 9 years and considering current price of PS4 , might not sound that impossible if you asking me assuming this gen will last as long as last gen.

3) We all know PS4 has the momentum over X1 in every single region in the world as we speak. What does that mean really ? That its getting attention and momentum while being the number 1 choice over X1 and Wii U as we speak all around the world.

When Wii U will be out of competition exactly like Wii did ( personally i dont think Wii U will be here after 2-3 years from now or if it is will be in a life support mode similar to Wiis ) Nintendo fans will get pushed to buy a new console to play with , similar to what happened last gen. Period. THAT will happen sooner or later if its not happening already for majority of Wii U owners. Guess this time around what most probably their choice will be when it comes to PS4 vs X1 ?!!

Unlike last gen that too many jumped on X360 ... this gen that wont happpen with X1. This means a considerable boost in sales for PS4 will come for N fans compared to last gen that many of the sheeps jumped on X360 .

Ps4 has the price , the value ( best hardware for same price vs its competitor ) , the brand , exclusives variety and quality/quantity , the momentum , the hype ... you name it. Once you said to me PS4 will do worse than PS3. I told you no way. Now you saying 100M milestone wont happen. Im saying it might happen even with that console Japan Crisis.

The PS4 will be replaced by another console in about 6 years most likely(maybe a year later or earlier) depending on how sony feels. Most gaming platforms sell the most in the first three or four years usually. Japan will also have an effect on the amount of ps4's sold per year. It's kinda silly to say that the PS4 will get to 100 million right now because the previous gen winners both appealed to a way bigger audience than the PS4 is appealing to right now. The PS4 has mostly gotten into the mainstream right now, but it has failed to grab this expanded audience that left the gaming market.It will be kinda hard for the ps4 to get 100 million without grabbing some of this expanded audience in some way.The PS4 mostly appeals to the same audience the 360 was able to appeal to at the start of it's gen. I also never said that the PS4 will do worse than the PS3.I think that was another user. I always predicted that the ps4 will at least sell 90 million even though I have put lower numbers in a range before.

It sold 10 million on its first 8 months so thats like 5 million per 4 months,and still to go we have 5 month left for this year to be gone,so yeah 15 or even 16 million is highly possible.

Come on that is not true the 360 sold better after its 4th year on the market so did the PS3,the PS2 after 5 years on the market after that it went to sell another 55 millions units,the xbox 360 and PS3 are like 84 million,man and they sucked compare to how the PS4 is selling now.

90 million is basically 6 million away from the $600 PS3 dude,come on i think the PS4 will reach 100 million faster than the wii did.

X1 isn't doing too bad now. That's pretty consistent. It's behind Sony (monthly sales), but still.

The PS4 will stay behind the Wii for most of the gen or the whole gen once it crosses streams with it.There is no chance of the ps4 selling 20+ million consistently yearly like the Wii did.The 360 and PS3 were able to sell better because of one reasons They got a product refresh with move and kinect at around their 4th or 5th year., but the 360 started to slow down about a year or two after kinect released.
