[QUOTE="Apathetic-Irony"][QUOTE="Da_bomb101"][QUOTE="rdo"][QUOTE="Da_bomb101"] [QUOTE="rdo"]lol in july when sony announced a closeout/discontinued/ mass floppage sale as a $100 price cut and before halo3 the ps3 still couldn't sell as much. july was the best chance the ps3 was ever going to have of claiming a single month, forget the gen, a single month and they failed.360 will sell more units in nov and dec than the ps3 does all year. the 360 killed the ps3 with the earlier undelayed release and great games, but the games of fall 2007 are when we throw the dirt on sony and bury them for good.Da_bomb101
right, a faulty system that has a 33% failure rate, is going to bury a 12 year old brand in a span of two months. The july sales figures just show that its becoming a much closer sales race than ms fanboys think or give credit to. I wouldnt be surprised if the figures stay pretty tight all through years end.
then i hope you like suprises because you are in for a big one over the coming months.Oh yeah im really going to suffer over the next few months playing R&C, uncharted, warhawk, haze, rock band, UT3 etc. Jesus what a nightmare!
Oh my God! Ratchet & Clank and Haze! Heaven forbid UT3 was coming to the 360 (when we don't have so many AAA titles coming out) and Rock Band coming to the 360.
If you seriously think the PS3 will outsell the 360, and already is, you are in denial.
Im not saying the 360 wont outsell the ps3 this year, because it will. What i am saying though is come next year what does the 360 have to offer to compete with what sony will be throwing out there (MGS4, GT, socom, killzone 2), if you can cant accept that one than you my friend are the one whos in denial.
I accept that many of the PS3's big hitters are coming out in 2008, but I also accept that it will most likely just catch up to the 360's end of 2007 lineup. It's as if every PS3 owner thinks that after 2007, XBOX 360 has no 2008 exclusives.
I honestly think it's too early to make any calls for 2008. Wait until the end of the holiday season before making predictions.
