I've noticed something. Most Hermits sound like stuck up arrogant pricks, Sheep sound really laid back, Lemmings sound like they live and die by System Wars and Cows sound delusional.flatline711
Pretty much sums this place up....

Yes a Kb/M is more efficent than a controller but really, when it comes to simply shooters (Bioshock COD etc) and everyone is on the same playing field, I don't see how you can't prefer a controller just because of ho wmuch more comfortible it is :P

Not really, I been using keyboard and mouse for years and I have no problems doing similiar feats on a controller. I never had trouble keeping my aim with my right thumb.

Well, singleplayer the clumsiness is completely unnoticable. Most games are extremely forgiving. You miss, you can get behind cover, pop out, shoot, go back behind cover. In multiplayer COD, if you don't dispatch the dude and move immediately, you will either get greased by the guy you are shooting at, or you will get wasted by one of his friends. The maps are fairly small with many places for guys to shoot from. Basically, some maps like Bog are so bad, that if you step in front of a window or out from cover and fire, the map is so small, that if you don't take the guy in 1 or 2 shots, you will not make it to a 3rd because you will get rained on. When you get into multiplayer where lack of finese can kill you, it actually gets quite frustrating.

Cool, if you've got a controller you want to plug in and play me in Counterstrike: Source or DOD: Source while I play with the K&M, I'd be fully willing to post our results, even if that means my embarassment to everyone here.

Read my post, I never said it wasn't skill. But like I said, playing SF:2 Alpha with a mobo racing wheel is probably skill too, but why bother?

And again, I also said I also own a 360, but I would rather not play a shooter on a console because it's input device is gimped. Seriously, just read the thread before you comment, it's really not that hard.

o.O I was simplely stating that I had no troubles doing things with a mouse and keyboard or a controller, disagreeing with shooters are terrible with a controller on consoles. I don't own or play that game anyways.. I neversaid nothing about verus oneto the other, either. I just claiming that they aren't bad on consoles and I have no trouble doing things described.

Wait, hear that? That's the sound of no one caring!

But seriously, of course K&Ms have a better feel than controllers.

It's called skill. It's not the game's fault you aren't good at it.

Udsen

Pushing buttons doesn't take skill.

controlling 2 analogs at once apparently does take skill
