And that's exactly my point, the PC can't legally play 360 games. So, it's sort of weird to claim that you'll be able to put 360 games in your PC and play them in the future, when really you won't be able to (unless MS decides to make that happen).

Well for me it's not a bad thing... but maybe for others. I believe, once I purchase the game, I can play it however I like.

Any way you cut it 360 has had more higher rated games in the last 12 months. You can use gamespot. gamerankings or metacritic. Yes the PC used to be dominant. Yes it has better graphics (depending on your PC). Yes its possible for people to make cool mods that can increase the value of a game. But when it comes down to it Recently the PC has been beaten by the so called inferior xbox 360 in the most important aspect. Games!

I would like to get you started on games. Start naming some games from 2007 or 2008 and I can name more for the 360. Come on its the most important thing. What is there? Spore? Sorry, it didn't annoy me one bit, but it was clear it was a stab at hermits.

PC games just get reviewed less often, so many of them won't even show up in gamerankings. Even Braid has more reviews than CoD4 on PC. Games like Sega Rally Revo are over 75% on both platforms, but because the PC version only has 8 reviews it will show up only when you set the minimum reviews as 5. Same goes with many other games like Mercs2, PES2008 etc. These stats are just fail and can be spinned to suit ones purposes by messing changing the search conditions, set reviews to 5 and see it even up, set them to 1 and see PC dominate, set them to 50 and PC only has 3 games...

because we all know the 360 only launched last year...Hewkii

Why is it that hermits believe that they are somehow elitests'? That they look down upon consoles and in many threads say "It doesn't matter PC is still the best. The Orange Box PC(96%) Xbox 360 (96%) why do they score identical? because they are the same game and are identical on both consoles except someone with a sweet pc can get slightly better graphics.

The PC is a great gaming platform but it IS NOT as dominant as it used to be.

Hermits need to realize that the PC isn't dominant over consoles.

*Sigh* I really dislike it when people use flawed logic. If you are going to compare average scores, then at least make sure that the scores are from publications that review games on both systems or the data is useless. If that is too much work then use only one source instead like IGN, 1UP, Eurogamer or a publication of your choice that reviews both console and PC games.

What does this prove? It proves that even taken from the same source data can be interpreted in different ways. When you add the fact that the data in question itself is derived from lots of different sources that is not standard across the board then the data pretty much becomes useless for any kind of true comparison.

So take it whichever way you wish....

Nope, but it doesn't represent all 360 games either. And it would be completely unfair to measure more then a decade of games vs. something that has not been out nearly as long. Sure it's an unfair comparison regardless as he is targeting on the lack of better titles on the PC compared to times past, but still, your way, isn't a good way to go about comparing them either. If you go by that, it'd be fair to compare all the consoles to that, to at least get somewhere close to the back catalogue of games.

In the end it all pans out and consoles sell more hardware and software, because of issues with PC gaming.

The only thing you have really is downloads, but MS is really getting into that field and PS and Wii are comin along for the ride as well...

Its PC vs 360 vs Wii vs PS3 , not PC vs 360/Wii/PS3.

There is no way to calculate all of what PC Gaming makes.

Lots of people buy New Computers, RAM, Cores, Graphics Cards, Etc for PC Gaming.

LOL! The day I get suspended for stating facts and giving an opinion in a debate forum will be the day I would leave anyway! I make my points and here we go AGAIN with TROLLING! I have not put another user down! That is a first sign of trolling but what I've seen a lot of "hermits" are the true trollers and need to be moded.
