Splinter Cell: Conviction not exclusive?

Ubisoft just released the boxart, and I noticed it did not have the "Only on Xbox 360" logo. or is it because it is also on PC?

I dont know, but if it plays like the E3 demo all the way through, it looks very good

Werid boxart. Its werid how some big title games just either have lame or werid boxart prime example MGS4 NA version.

Forget Boxart, didn't BIOSHOCK say ONLY ON XBOX? I know LOST PLANET and GEARS OF WAR say ONLY ON XBOX...but that's obviously wrong.

That's the problem with not owning a property, the company can pack up and move on. M$ knows this, how do you think they got GTA4, DMC4, and so many other PS games?

Most likely, if you look at UBISOFT's History, and look at SPLINTER CELL's history, this will most likely be a 6 month, or even a year timed exclusive. It's not a big deal, I will be getting it on 360, but that's just what I know.

I remember these boards back when SC 1 came out, and how it was touted exclusive, and eventually ported.

UBISOFT is like any company, they will say yes to timed exclusivity for a check, but how long depends on that Check Amount.

Well, I'm glad I asked...my point is that BIOSHOCK came to PS3 eventually (Which as we know isn't 360 or Windows), so even if SC saied ONLY on Xbox, it wouldn't matter.

However, to further prove my point :

Gear of War 1 says ONLY ON XBOX

Lost Planet says ONLY ON XBOX

and that's two games I own and checked just now. So, ONLY ON XBOX, really doesn't mean to much.

I did check my copy of BIOSHOCK, and you are right, it does say that on my limited edition, but it got ported away all the same. Could Catch though, IronBass! :) (I'm really glad I asked, something in my memory wasn't quite sure. )

No one will have that link, that's part of a NDA between M$ and UBI. We are not supposed to speculate or even wonder, the whole point is this is an exclusive 360 game for 360, and that's that...if you are M$.

As gamers, we can look at the big picture and see what M$ been up too, but right now, that game is 100% only on 360, fo sho.

Any breaking of the NDA would cost UBI Lots of money, and they arne't about to do that! No way.
