Splinter Cell Conviction on PS3? Never, says Ubi

UBI said the same thing for the originial SC.

Let's be honest, they can't come out and break and agreement with M$, so whatever they say just is part of an agreement. The Timed Exclusives are SUPPOSED to move consoles, so UBI wants to see 360's sold due to SC, to show M$ they held their end of the agreement.

Sony Fans: "Hey Ubi maybe you could give us a sweet port of Splinter Cell Convictions?

Ubisoft: "What!?!"

Sony Fans: "When are you going to port Splinter Cell Convictions?"

Ubisoft: "You know when we are going to port that game?

Sony Fans: "When?"

Ubisoft: "........."

Sony Fans: "When are you going to port that game?"

Ubisoft: "NEVER!"

All the others were "exclusive" too. They will give in. Just a matter of time. Not that I care. At best, ill give it a rent on the 360 and see whats poppin.

I myself can not stand playing Splinter Cell on the PC. I got the first one about a week ago when it was only $5 on steam. I could not pass up such a cheap deal. I just could not stand playing SC without a controller.rybe1025

An inferior clone of the MGS series not coming to the PS3? I never would have thought a game publisher would be affraid to put their "BEST' wares against the competiton. If you want to talk about Ubi exclusives, you need to be in the Wii forum. Nintendo is getting all that love!

My most anticipated game from Ubisoft this yr. A guaranteed 1st day purchase. I love owning all systems. *high fives all multi system owners.*

At that time, Microsoft really believed in the game potential and provided strong support to promote it. So, there is a "link of heart" between the franchise and the platform. Some games are like this (think of Final Fantasy for instance).

Just because its on pc doesnt meant its instantly superior. But either way a lemming gets it first hermit 6 months later possible for a cow in a year and a sheep doesnt get to touch it.

I only use my PS3 for their exclusives anyway, I prefer my gaming done on 360, sad for those who like the series and cant afford a 360 or a good PC.

I think he means that it can only be played on a windows PC. Oh well, I'll be getting this for the 360 because I don't have a gaming PC (plus if I preorder this on play.com on the 360, I'll get a free torch:))
