Square has confirmed time and time again that FF7 will not be remade in the near future because all their teams are busy. If you listened to hopeful cows then well.... yeah.

I'm not blown away but the PSP getting the games that were going to be wasted on the cell phones is a good thing because besides a few games it's future was looking dry.
