Also, Yoshi is a fantastic player who can outshine me at moments. I advise you to learn from him as well.

But you are a good opponent to play with... I think we play too much the same style though, we know each other's characters so well, I think we forget to change our plans... XD I need more meat. :P

By moments I mean anytime I'm not using King Dedede. :P I'm so used to that character that anything else I use against you is an uphill battle.

My biggest weakness atm is that I don't play as much as I used to. Getting back into the swing of things tends to be a hassle. It helps to play people like the OP since it gives me a nice scratching post.:D

Of course when 2 noobs go at it they will both button mash and one of the button mashers will win. If the game requires no skill, how is it that someone who is really good can beat a button masher without getting hit once?

The game is probably the best fighter of all time, one of the best games this gen by far, and I feel sorry for anyone who was unable to enjoy this masterpiece.

Good games Tmnt. Great IC. No lag in any of the ROB vs. IC matches at all! :shock: (for me anyway) Lots of lag in the last match though.

Since the thread has kind of gotten back on track, I'll answer the TC's question: It's a 9.5 because it's a great game with minor flaws. I've played fighters, and SSB is the most complex. The graphics look great, and it's...the least repetitive fighting game you'll ever see. :?

Tsug, ggs, awesome rob and haven't seen too much wolf yet but seems pretty good.

To TC, this game has a lot of depth to it. There are plenty of characters to suit peoples styles of play which ranges from people who like to be aggressive all the time w/ melee attack, projectile spammers, campers, defensive players who are very strong at spacing, characters that require a lot of mindgame to be successful, and everything in between. If you want to enjoy it, start by picking up one character and trying to excel with that character or at least learn how to control the characters correctly.. The graphics are also pretty good considering that it is a lower budget console with weaker hardware compared to the PS3, 360, and PC.

i disagree, actually. they definately tweaked the characters.

on Melee, Sheik was my best character. but in Brawl, Zelda is my best character. its technically the same character, but i can definately tell a difference

To most people who have played Melee enough and carried on to Brawl, they will notice the change due to elements like tripping, pivoting, higher focusing on perfect shielding, the redone air dodge system, no L canceling, and more. All the old characters got complete redone as well, with Mario losing his down B to FLUDD, Luigi getting his own "Rest", Bowser's side B grab being a slam, Peach's down smash losing its range, etc. As for the new characters not adding anything, the new characters play differently enough to be worthy of the roster, from Pokemon Trainer's high focus on switching and matching, to Diddy Kong's low lag between moves and banana harassment.

If you are not noticing any difference between Brawl and Melee, you're not playing enough.

still, who uses the family zone other than kids with parents than don't want them learning new words...you fail to explain why you use that zone over the other ones
