It makes sense, since SMG will be out in by christmas. But WHY?! WHY!!?!?!?!

I am so sad by this and I dont even have a Wii!!!

well; on first seeing this i admit i was rather pissed.. i've been looking forward to this game for awhile. But i got over being mad quite fast, when i think about it there are alot of games that are coming out that i iwll be buying, so pushing smash off for a little while gives me alot more time to devote to some other titles! Plus; an extra 2 months of develop time could mean for a greatly increased game!! so, as long as i have other games to play.. i'm not going to be too upset.

It sucks for the wii line up though. Smash + Galaxy would have made for a killer xmas line up; though galaxy is still a big "bruiser", so to speak.

The Wii has outsold the 360 every month this year - by a large margin too. Name one reason why that won't continue.

TBH. It's a move that needed to be done. That way if after the hollidays Wii sales slow down. Theres a BIG title to pick them back up. They need to Stretch out the demand. Not blow all your guns and made demmand really high and then not have the supply.

And how exactly is the 360 going to overtake the Wii in sales this holliday season. The 360 has outsold the Wii 2 weeks this entire year (and not by alot) and it was only after it launched its BIGGEST game.

And the PS3 lineup is still weak. Because it's best games are multiplats so why not get a them on the cheaper system? While most of the A-AAA games on the Wii are all going to be exclusive.

Welp...the Wii's Fall lineup just crashed. my interest literally dropped 50% (I was only interested in this and galaxy).

Good job, Nintendo. You fail. Good thing the casuals don't care.

Nice damage control. You're gonna have to just suck it up rather than find excuses and ways to try to rationalize it to be a good thing when it's not (other than that the game itself will be better).

The bottom line is this was the perfect holiday game for them, given they're only other big-hitter will be out over a month before Christmas. Games like Mario Kart will be there for 2008. This is a big loss for Wii gamers and anyone who suggests otherwise is simply lying to themselves.

This is simply epic fail.

While, let's try to look at this optimistically. They will probably make the online a lot better. Maybe the delay was so Nintendo could release a headset, or some way to communicate, first?

Well, there's still SMG, Zack and Wiki, and RE:UC for me. And I'll probably get a 360 for another 3 games.

His list = full of shooters, not interested. Actually, it's ONLY shooters, or games which revolve heavily around shooting as their gameplay. This is why I hate the other consoles.

I haven't played Super Metroid D: If it evolves heavily shooting, I probably won't like it.

In fact, the only shooters I've ever liked were Goldeneye and Counter Strike.
