yeah, if they spend this time making online better then I'm most certainly fine with it.
also, people need to stop acting like now there's nothing for the wii this holiday season beyond SMG. So what if none of the games appeal to you? what if shooters didn't appeal to me? There wouldn't be very many games for me for the upcoming months. :|
With this, could the Wii compete with the "amazing PS3 08 lineup?"
With Mario Kart and SSBB I think it has a chance.
[QUOTE="Jandurin"]Shooter genre is fun too, Eponique. Is it the third/first personness that you don't like? Or do you not like Super Metroid either?sexy_chimp
The shooter genre is okay, but I don't want it to be basically the only genre like on the other consoles.
Definitely agree. Though, I stopped playing shooters for about 7 years, so it's kind of nice to come back to it and see what I've missed. Like Halo and Half Life.[QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="TheWiikestLink"][QUOTE="Eponique"]u already said all those except u added a FLOP....GJ. Wii still has teh worst lineup.Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Zack & Wiki
Resident Evil: UC
Trauma Center
Batallion Wars 2
Fire Emblem
Metroid Prime 3:3
MikeE21286
By far the worst. Galaxy is the only heavy-hitter. Fire Emblem will be niche. The rest = meh.
couldn't agree any more.....
Are you guys seriously discrediting metroid prime 3 because gamespot gave it an 8.5? Yeesh, how freakin elitist are you people? There's actually a handful of games that people consider to be some of the best ever that actually got somewhere between an 8.0 and 8.9 on gamespot (metal gear solid and symphony of the night).
Wait; FE niche.. so, that means you don't care about it? Are we talking about which lineup will sell more or which lineup is actually good? Because, fire emblem games are generally considered good/great. IF any of the above who've been quoted are simply talking about commercial success, then that's fine.. but assuming we're talking more then just sales:
Trauma center has never been "meh" quality. You may not be interested, and that's fine.. why would any of us care what games you're interested in.. what matters is whether it is actually a good game for what it is(puzzle game). And Trauma center for the wii was considered great, both by gamespot and gamerankings. Honestly, TS:SO is an amazingly fun and challenging game, please don't dismiss a good game.
Battalion wars was also considered great by gamespot, so why are we dismissing a follow up to a great game.. especially one published by nintendo that doesn't have zelda/mario/metroid attached to it. Battalion wars is quite a unique game, this should be celebrated not dismissed.. and from what we've heard of BWii, we're getting alot more for our money then we did with BW.
ANYWAYS; i personally do not know which system has the best lineup.. i'll have to wait and see how good all of these games are before i can decide that. Perhaps some of you should do the same.

Definitely agree. Though, I stopped playing shooters for about 7 years, so it's kind of nice to come back to it and see what I've missed. Like Halo and Half Life.I'm basically going to get Orange Box for the best FPS experience out there (So I can ignore all the others) and then buy the more unique ones like Bioshock.
